Attn: Owners of ballbearing GT42's
Hey
I'm starting to get so damn confused about my turbo charger and I want to know if it is ball bearing or not. This is directed to those that own a GT42/R/S. If you know for sure that your turbo is ball bearing than can you pleaseeee post up your part number. I have been looking on the net and am finding a lot of missleading information about these turbo's. Please help! |

If it is not ball bearing GT series turbo it is not water cooled. No water fittings no BB simple.

All turbos have an oil passage. If you have a water cooled turbo you will see 4 openings; 2 oil and 2 water. Typically the oil passage has a small inlet and larger outlet, where the water passage is the same in as out.
