thats the gauge....
heres a forum ive posted with not much results.....
http://forum.aempower.com/forum/inde...oard,75.0.html

my problem is that it wont read the same as my haltech AND, when i pressurized the system to 15LBS it goes to 13.7 and thats it....im kind of disappointed at this time about this system...for the price...im pissed!!
ive found it alot cheaper than posted in the first link buts still.....
im going to have to call AEM tech support and see what they have to say!

im curious if others are having troubles with it....

No problems with my unit other then the fact that I thought it was a full closed loop system when I bought it!! Little ticked about that.

But mine reads just as the haltech (once converting from haltech's metric...) and works well. Boost'd up to 25psi on a 10lb spring. But will hold 20psi just fine.

I do like the overboost mode though. A couple times when I was running 18-20psi I forgot where I'd set my limit and would hit 18, then bleed it all off to spring pressure instantly (had max boost at 18) so that feature works very well!

EDIT: as for your problem, as you certain there's no obstructions in the signal line? Where is the source coming from?

I've had trouble with AEM's electronics, build quality and design wise. I wasn't happy with their AEM UEGO wideband gauge (faulty display, and horrible customer service). It is convenient to have the functionality built into the gauge, but some people find the button interface to be cumbersome.

Can't your Haltech control boost? Why don't you use that?

no haltech boost controller. i used this because it let me see the boost and can control it. if i can get it to work correctly...
at first i had it "T"ed with my BOV under the BAC.
then i switched it so its "T"ed with my haltech MAP sensor.
i used the nipple suggested by hitman (see attached pic)
the MAP sensor is located on the firewall just higher than the UIM and the line travels under the UIM next to the upper fuel rail. its "T"ed right behind the UIM then goes to the MAP sensor and TRU-BOOST gauge.
i just may have to check the line for a pinch of some sort (into the cabin) since its ran to the idiot cluster triple gauge pod.
other than that i dont know what else to do?:wallbash: :icon_tdow
