Any engine modifications needed to run single turbo?
Got a question here. I've been looking into the single turbo setups and I'm thinking about getting one, my only question is, what needs to be done to the engine?
Streetport? 3mm apex seals? Bridgeport?......are any of these things a 'must have' if I'm looking into going single......? Or will a basically 'stock' engine be able to withstand the higher boost? |
The stock motor will handle a single turbo setup...the real question is how long? Answer: not very

What exactly is a street-port and how much does it usually cost?
I plan on getting the KKK Stage II turbo kit that SR sells and I'll probably run around 16-19psi...should I just op for 3mm seals? And how much do seals cost? Also, is this stuff 'do it yourself'? I know the streetport isn't but how about the turbo install and everything else? |
