Airflow conversion question
Does anyone know a formula that can convert CFM at a given temp and pressure to Lbs/min? I'm monkeying around with excel and don't want to bother with a conversion chart if possible.
Thanks for any help. Don. |
Google says:
When comparing to a compressor flow map that is in Pounds per Minute (lbs/min), multiply CFM by 0.069 to convert CFM to lbs/min. |
For Temp in degrees F, and Pressure in PSI, you can use this:
lb/min = CFM * Pressure * 2.7 / (Temp + 460) |
