.63 A/R on third gen?
 

Ok so I recently picked up an FD and I've been toying with the single turbo idea to clean up my engine bay and have a little bit more power. Right now the car is stock with the exception of an intake, DP, and the air pump delete pulleys. I plan n using the car for autox and because of that, I want to keep the power relatively low(My power goal is around 325whp). Right now I'm thinking the gt35r is the way to go. I already have a t3 flanged manifold and now I'm shopping for the turbo.

I was thinking about going with a .63 a/r rear turbo to keep the lag down but I can't find much on FD's running this size. Most of the searching I've done shows guys making 400+whp with 1.06 or .82 a/r's. I know a t3 .63 would run out of power if I was running 15psi at high rpm's trying to make 350+whp but will it be ok for 325? Also, will it produce more heat than a larger turbo?

Has the same hotside but different compressor than what you'll be running. But it gives you an idea of how that turbine housing is going to hurt your top end. It'll be up to you to decide if that top end is acceptable to you as it does come at the advantage of really good response.

Thank you sir. After hours and hours of research I decided to go with a turbonetics 60-1 turbo with .70 a/r front .77 a/r rear. I found one for the right price and I think it will be great for what I need it to do.
