First, you'll want to post up some details of your set up;
What kind of boost level, fuel supply, injectors, ignition, what kind of spark plugs? Is this a new build and this problem has been there since the beginning? Or, is this a tested setup that just started dong this? All of this will allow someone to give some kind of help. Victor |

Victor 10psi Stock plugs 9s all around Stock inj have twin power no difference 1680/ 550 stock walbro 255 pump and tryed stock Pfc Fmic |
It sounds like the plugs or coils are the culprit to me. I've never had good luck with the stock 9s like everyone says they do. I have always had to run the fancy R6725-105 plugs - the plus side is they last a hell of a lot longer than the stock plugs.

First, it seems a waste to run a 6266 at 10psi.
That said, while not impossible, it's less likely that an ignition or fuel supply problem would show up at that low of a boost level. I think it is much more likely that there is something with the tune, such as a boost cut setting is low enough that it is kicking in when the boost gets to that level. You may not experience it in lower gears because the load is just below the threshold. You should run a data log and see if you can identify the specific condition that the symptom occurs. |
I had breakup on stock 9's at same rpm on a 67mm. Switched to r7420 plugs and prpblem solved. However, it was really because the tune was too rich for my ignition system.
Can you provide an estimate of your air fuel ratio? Do you have a wideband |
Af are in the 11 and hard break up car has no power and just stutters
|
Did you find the problem?
|
Yes replaced the fpr and works fine
|
Be cautious with breakup. You mentioned hard breakup which is not friendly to fd rotors. They can dent the faces and cause the same kind of scenario you are having.
