'Versus Motorsport' aero

Does anyone here know anything about them or their aero-parts?

I might be interested in some FC stuff, but aside from some outdated and hella grainy pictures on vendor websites there's really not much to go on...

Really REALLY hoping someone could chip in on this

Okay, so nobody heard of Versus Motorsport

All good, they only did one bumper for the FC that IMO conveyed a lot of that 80's tuner feel, and I've since found another company that makes it..

Though, looking at their photos i'm starting to feel like it's an immitation of some sort of legendary original kit, so have I blasphemed?

Take a look & tell me what you think;

not a fan, turns it more towards a porsche 944, which the FC already gets confused with a lot.

I guess it could, depending on your point of view

Personally, I'd say it's closer to a Finishline bumper than a 944's front end. 944's also lack the black trim across the width of the bumper

Also, apparently it's a Tripoint / Ronin bumper? Hard to tell as many Tripoint pics feature different front ends, ranging from stock to whatev's

I believe the front lower bumper cover shown is "Finishline" which I think were catalog items available through the Mazda dealer. It was originally polyurethane.

If you like that '80s vibe (which I think suits the FC well) there is also the Vestatec kit which was/is polyurethane and I believe made in Germany.

Hmmn, that VS one does look slightly different. Perhaps a contemporary copy like Tripoint.

OMFG you sir are my hero! I'm literally jumping in my seat right now!

The originial Finishline stuff is holy grail material to me, and all this time i've been trying to settle on an alternative that approached that look, to no avail so far..

The only thing that came even remotely close was the above-mentioned VS Aero half bumper, with it's straight-cut profile and retention of the original black trim.

But THIS! This just changed the game entirely

So,

Apparently 'Vestatec' only has two offices in Europe, one in Germany and one in the UK. I've shot their German department an email, I wonder if they'll reply.

The only vendor I managed to find is 'Classicgarage.com', based in Brewster NY, and wouldn't you have it; 'We may not be able to ship large items outside of the US/Canada'

THE STUFF'S MADE IN GERMANY, that's next-door to me...

I'm just counting my blessings now ><
