AD9 hood from RE-Amemiya is ~$975 after tax, and they are made to order. Not sure where you're getting $700 from.

RE Amemiya Aero Bonnet Mazda RX-7 FC3S 86-92 Since they are made to order they don't have them in stock here so they have to be shipped one at a time, which obviously makes shipping charges go sky high. -That's what I should have said. |
Can anyone confirm/deny that the real RE hoods have rolled edges? I found an old thread that indicated they might not.

Hey guys. Don't mean to burst anyone's bubble, but I just meant we'll look into the project after we're done with our Feed hood.
I have a buddy who has a buddy who has an authentic one. If the fitment is to my standard, then we can probably get something going. If it needs work, we'll probably have to source an FRP one from Japan or anyone who has it locally so we can do the proper bodywork and get it to fit close to OEM as possible. |
