An OE-fitting AD9 hood would fly off the shelves.

We're working on it Issues must be fixed before a mold is made. It will take some time before the first hood is released. However, we do understand the demand, so this project has moved up the priority list.

And yes we will be producing the gurney flaps as well. Will only be sold with the purchase of our version.

Not sure some random hood and an aftermarket bumper are best are the best way to judge fitment on that REA hood. Authentic hood looks pretty damn good here:

Although we use an after-market bumper it is positioned perfectly against an OEM hood for reference. As long as the bumper is where it needs to be an have the correct curvature, that is really all that is needed. We also didn't test fit a random hood. We test fitted an authentic RE-Amemiya hood.

I am not sure if you are seeing what we're seeing, but there is a HUGE gap between the hood and the front bumper in the picture you posted. Take a closer look. AND... this a picture taken 2-3 feet away

It's true that what looks good in a picture from a few feet away, and what will look good when you're standing right there are two different things. I've got a Seibon KS style hood that I played with enough that it looks great in pictures, but in reality it's not a stock fit by a long shot... and it would be even more obvious if I painted it silver to match, and thus called attention to the gaps.

I never got a reply from them. I ended up getting the same hood from Group A Motoring.

Going on two years now. Any updates? Actively in the market for one of these now. Would much prefer going with a shine product over anything else.
