I gotta say it Flows with the lines of the car, yet conservative.. looks good so far.

The one on the S2ks look nice in design too, maybe something similar to that would be cool.

I still like the Kenstyle one best. I guess I'll just have to settle for an RE-A one or something.

Scrub 01-15-09 10:36 AM

are you going to add the vent under the license plate too? I'm guessing the one you posted pics of is just a rough prototype. I'm diggin it though.

Sup Dan. Im not sure what you mean by vent under the license plate, but this was just a simple mock up to give the guys and idea of what it would look like. We are considering widening the center of the diffuser a bit as well. Any thoughts?

I think widening the whole thing might make it look better, I like it but theres something thats kind of off with it at the same time. I think it just makes the rear of the car way too round. Making it alittle wider overall might help with that in my opinion.

shineautoproject 01-15-09 04:26 PM

wider is definitely a better look. I believe it the diffuser was mounted higher bringing it closer to the rear bumper, we might not have too round of a look. We'll see :)

Too narrow.

It needs to at least be as wide as the rear bumper, or maybe a little wider.

I don't like the tapered look it gives to the test car.

Wider is better.

speedjunkie 01-15-09 05:15 PM

+1 to all of the above. Wider overall, brought up a little closer to the bottom in the rear, possibly widening the center section, all that would look better. Currently it does look too slim, that's what I didn't like about it. Just my .02.

A quick photoshop to make things easier....

I'm also liking a diffuser for those of us with non-stock rear bumpers.

Prometheus 01-20-09 12:03 AM

Still dont like the photoshopped version.

I'm not trying to be rude, but I woldn't buy that.

Scrub 01-21-09 09:39 AM

Ken,
If you look at the first pic posted by 7-sins there is a vent under the license plate on the diffuser....on your mock up I didn't see it.

+1

Is there no possibility of getting one like the Kenstyle?

The Kenstyle diffuser has since been discontinued since almost over a year and near impossible to get now. There was one for sale, but only fiberglass, on the forums back in July and has since been sold.

This doesn't mean shineauto will never make it :[
