After years of searching, we were finally able to source a lip from Japan to replicate off of. The 99 Spec Mazdaspeed lip is extremely rare and has been discontinued for nearly a decade. We're in the process of finishing up the mold and should be offering these for sale soon.

Hybrid FRP (flexible fiberglass). $350.

Carbon Fiber (Choose between Plain or Twill weave Carbon) $550.
*Original Mazdapeed lip was made in Plain Weave

Carbon-Kevlar (Choose between Plain or Twill weave). Carbon-Kevlar is a hybrid fabric of carbon (black strands) and kevlar (yellow strands). $650.




Shipping is $65 to the lower 48 states.

Will this fit to the old '92 face front bumper? I guess not, right?

99 spec lips aren't designed to fit on pre-99 front bumpers, but many do force fit 99 spec lips onto their pre-89 bumpers. The bumpers are flexible and so is the original 99 spec lip (2 piece lip). Having said that, it is still not a perfect fit, but to some it gets by. It will be hard to say how well this would fit on a pre-99 bumper.

Oh, i'm definitely in on this one. Getting the lip will help push me to do the 99 spec conversion.

I have a 99 lip on my s6 bumper and it looks great. It's hard to tell they don't naturally come this way.

It's so nice to see new addition coming soon to the FD line up, anything for the FC line up on the way? Perhaps a FC3S: Aero Parts Part II thread?

absolutely :). I'll update when the mold is done and the first part is made. Then it will be first come first serve. Production rate is about 1 every 1.5 weeks for a carbon version. 1 every 1 week for a Hybrid FRP version.

The ends underneath the fenders are very similar tho , I love it .
