I think it would be really usefull to put some lighting in behind the bumpers. It is very hard to see anything at all when looking at the pics.
|
|
I will when photobucket stops being so damned slow!

still available? how much is the shipping to BC Canada? |
Just wanna say thanks to Ken for the front bumper and carbon skirts I got as part of the UK Group Buy, and a big thanks to Killswitch for organising. Great quality items, I look forward to getting them fitted.
Speaking of which how have people attached their carbon sides ? Is it just a case of drilling up into the car and screwing in ? Cheers Bulla |

that's not a replica that you make though, right ?
from what i know that car has an authentic kit all around. (please correct me if i'm wrong) http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/3...1resizeqx1.jpg But he wrecked this beautiful car and now he has a black one with all our stuff. http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/8...ts1i014ex6.jpg And here's my car with parts just freshly painted and a new set a wheels. I never thought I would go with heavy 3-piece wheels, but I wanted to change it up from a track look to a street look, which is rarely seen with this particular kit. http://img515.imageshack.us/img515/7...pwheelsqm3.jpg http://img519.imageshack.us/img519/5...pwheelsxd0.jpg http://img245.imageshack.us/img245/1...pwheelsvo4.jpg I still need to cut my rear fenders and drop my car a bit. Get a nice low look. Ken |
mmm...it still looks better in person ^_^ but its looking sahweeet!
|
Looking good Ken! You're right though you never see that kit on anything but track cars :)
|
Offsets and wheel/tire sizes Ken?
|
Remember that the front fenders are 25mm wider than stock and the rears are 20mm wider than stock. I'm not sure if you can tell but I also went with 19's which is outrageous for an FD. 19's would not look good on stock fenders, but I noticed the fender arc on the FEED's are higher, so it decent for a street look. The other gunmetal FD also has 19's.
Work VS-XX Burning black 19x10.5 +29 275/35 19x9.5 +28 255/35 <------ this tire size rubs a lil bit. Im going to try 245/35 and see how it goes. They're toyos by the way. Ken |

Photoshop drop http://img91.imageshack.us/img91/354/rx71jo3.jpg Also, these fenders take 350z wheels sizes, so you can always sell them to a Z guy :) Ken |
Those look awesome dropped :)
|
I am thinking of 18x9.5 all around for my wheels. for the front I was going to go with a 265/35/18 in +42 (same as rears to rotate, I may not install the Burnout rear fenders).

That should be fine with burnout front fenders. Ken |
19's. . . . Work VS-XX. . . . Ken is a baller. I guess all those spare FD parts i've bought have added up. . . :D
those are sick. Love the look! |
|
envy. =D
|
It's nice to finally have my stuff put together :)
|
Now get some proper Feed lights :p
|
Looking good Ken! I need to get my ass in gear and get my car put together..
PHIL P.S. you should be getting a package from me:) |
damn ken, makito did a damn good job on it =D
|
Most of the cars shown in this thread are running the FEED style front fenders. Will this front end work with stock FD fenders?

I think owning 3 FD's qualifies you for being able to lag. :beerchug:

Ken, what's your exact wheel fitment with tire sizes please?
Thanks, Rishie |

315's all around :) yes the car is dirty and apart I know;) But you can fit a 345 in the back with these quarters if setup with proper tweaking here and there.

HOLY SHIT! Look at that track beast. 345's????? That's crazy. Are those the feed rears? Unbelievable job on the blending in.
Thumbs up on that beast. |

Thanks, Rishie 19x9.5 +27 350z guys do tend to go with +22, but you can easily fit those on with the fenders and prob the burnout fenders as well. http://img184.imageshack.us/img184/2328/dsc09881qn7.jpg These are 18x10.5 and 18x9.5 +22 all around. I was going to buy these from the guy but he didnt want to sell them to me :(. They will work. Ken |

Yes modified feed rears, and fronts, SAP bumper ;). The only reason for being able to fit the 315's up front is strictly due to a lot of work. I honestly dont remember the final offsets on the wheels I went through so many till I got it where I wanted it.
-S- |
The wheels don't say it on them?
|
No sir, I do know I had the set made to my specs. It took a while to get it figured but I wanted the front to match the rear.

You could say that ;)

Hahaha. Very nice. I knew something was different.

Ken, do you happen to know, or know someone who knows the wheel size, offset and tire sizes on this car? Probably one of the best looking FD's I've ever seen. Thanks Charlie |
I think this picture was taken in the parking lot of Status (wheel company). You will find the exact same picture on my350z.com in the wheels vendore section of that forum and they maybe able to give you the exact offsets.

Would the feed fenders look good with the OEM 99 front end? Anybody have pictures of that?
