Thanks for the fun

Once again a bunch of great guys and gals have given us a great event. I liked seeing more Old school but I really liked the fact that more could be there.

Again I know that alot of the credit for this event goes out to Bern and his crew (sorry that I know your faces but not your names, this needs to change).

Also credit goes to Mazda for recognizing that this is an important event and helping to support it.

To all of our friends from outside the US I hope that we were good hosts and that you had a good time(even if you hit a deer on your way). PS you always have an open invitation to visit.

Last but not least to all of my fellow rotorheads thanks for sharing your cars and stories and friendship this is what our community is all about.

Once again, thanks to everyone from the SoCal RXClub for all of your hard work in putting on yet another hugely successful Sevenstock event. Every year we think the event can't get better and you guys continue to suprise us.

LC, Scott, Gary, Bern and everyone else from the SoCal club who worked your butts off to organize volunteers and put up with us.... THANK YOU.

Thanks to Mazda for stepping up in a big way this year at the new venue and thanks to Robert Davis for saying "See You Next Year" at the event. It's nice to see everyone already committed to more fun next year.

Weatherwise it was perfect. Please, please, please keep the event in late October. It makes it so much easier for those of us driving through the desert on our way into Irvine, and the weekend before SEMA saves on expenses for those coming into the LA/Las Vegas area for both events!

Thanks again from all of us in Arizona for the early Christmas present!

It was definitely good to meet so many of you although there were still some people I didn't get to talk to. Thanks for organizing such a good time.

Yes, I can't agree more. Rob, Joe and I flew down to Sevenstock, then hopped over to Las Vegas for the SEMA Show and flew back to Portland from there, making it a very convenient trip. Thanks to the Volunteers and Mazda for making it a great event as usual.

By the way, I was suprised by how well known Sevenstock proved to be at the SEMA Show. I was representing both Pineapple Racing and Mazdasport Magazine and when people noticed my affiliations they almost invariably mentioned Sevenstock. Of course, a lot of them were Mazda-related vendors but even some of the larger, more diversified companies brought it up. The guys from Quaife (manufacturer of perforance limited slip differentials and dog-ring racing transmissions), for example, brought it up and said they were really disappointed to miss it this year and would try for next year.

I thought i was well organized and a great time for all. Thanks a million for the event and the fun time our crew had at the after hours activities like the cart racing! Even RotaryDude had a blast there!

It seams likes these guys can not get enough praise for turning out an event so well planned and oranized............... Bernie & James you will allways be #1 for us!~ Please keep up the fun and long hours of work for Sevenstock 10 (anniversary year!)

Thanks to all for the great words... this is why we keep doing this event! But for this year, I take very little credit as there were 3 key players that really put in the work this year... please recognize these folks!

-Latross Carroll (LC): SS-9 team leader
-Andy Lee: Banquet, T-Shirt Coordinator, raffle assistant
-Mike Scott: RR show, art, signage, sound, vendor, facilities coordinator

These are the guys who really put down the hard-work this year...

but there were also a few more as-important players for SS9:

-Jeremy Romero (JRo): all around event, raffle and stage coordinator
-Ritchie C. & Sandy: T-Shit Booth Coordinator
-Gary Salva: Volunteer, Music coordinator
-Mel P.: Friday night coordinator
-James Bailey: Day-of vendor operations guy!
-Jeff Garcia: all around event support, equipment, and transpo guy

-Micah Robles: SS-8 & SS-9 main event artist

-Me: all around loud mouth, and day-off coordination... this year the boys pulled the load.

Along with the duties listed, all helped set-up on Friday night, and coordinate all aspects of the day-off activities: traffic, parking, set-up, Mazda race car presentation, clean-up, etc... no task to big or small for anyone.

If it wasn't for all these people, and in some cases their significant others, this event wouldn't be possible...

This is the team to have if you need to do an event... we've been doing it for years now, and although we get testy and stressed during the coordination each year, the pay-off is always great!

Also a huge shout-out to the SS9 volunteers!

The reality is that if you, the vendors and particpants, didn't keep participating with us, the event would not enjoy the success it has! I'm still blown away that anyone would drive a few hours to our event, and even much less days, or fly-in from all corners of the earth; SIMPLY AMAZING!! You guys are the best!

Bernie, Everyone in the SO CAl Club were wonderful to us, vendors and particpants. I think those of us that keep comming back love the atmosphere and the friendships. Your group opens up to everyone and treats us all like FAMILY! and thats what Sevenstock is all about, besides Your the mascot (Praise) and the trade mark. I know that your entire group does alot to make this happen, and I just can not express my gratitude with the right words that would show enough! Thanks AGAIN
