Special Projects for SevenStock-8

Guys,
Every year we are amazed at the new awesome RX projects that show up to SevenStock, and we are wondering if anyone is working on something special for SS-8? If you are, let's hear it!! If clean and worthy enough, we'll put into the courtyard... :bigthumb:

Let's see what you guys are up to!!

Yep, That blue repu is bad ass. I've seen it at sevenstock and drool!

repumax 05-15-05 11:26 PM

Damn!

It came out bigger than the first one. I'll figure it out one of these days..........

Perhaps the turbo vert in my sig :D
If you tell me yes soon enough, I'll throw a Tri-Point widebody kit on it and repaint the whole thing.
It looks good as it is though....

With a wide-body and new paint, it might have a chance...

Juni's convertible is close to yours, but hasn't made the courtyard.. ;) wide-body Kenesis Wheels, etc... REW engine bits.

I am driving my RHD 1st gen.. Brand new full interior getting done as we speak.. Also the pearl white paint will be sprayed in a month.. It's a 80 RHD SA. This is what the interior will look like..

I second the vote for the Cosmo, THATS the kinda stuff that belongs in the courtyard!

HAHHAHHAHA, you really think an FD is couryard worthy? Have you not been to sevenstock ever?? There are INSANELY nice FD's EVERYWHERE that dont get into the courtyard!

The left hand drive 1st gen is noteworthy though, if its as good as the pics you posted, it might be a contender!!

quicksilver_rx7 07-06-05 05:38 PM

A spirit R FD would be nice. (a real one  )

Well, here's my entry. The car will have been repainted (same color), just to take care of some battle scars, as the car is a NASA Super Unlimited road race car. Over 500hp@ the wheels. Wide body, hood concieved by me(a little different than the current pics), Rotary Extreme GTC nose(the only surviving unit as far as I know) truely the only one on the planet (unless someone has copied it in the mean time). Interior will be done properly. The presentation will include lap times at notable tracks, a professional photo shoot poster board, SAE Dyno sheets showing well over( ;) ) 500rwhp on stock Mazda seals, Team FC3S car of the year as voted by the members of that site, In addition Ryan and I are collaborating on a feature for RX7 Tuner, I cannot promise that will be done though. Here is a link to some of the pictures of the build-up. I feel the car represents the spirit of owning a Seven. Built by me, in my garage, with limited funds to go kick the hell out of $100,000.00 Porsches and the like on the track. Bolt a set of street wheels to the car, and my wife can drive it to the grocery store:D. Thanks for your consideration, Carl Byck

And last, my car fits the Mazda Motorsports theme... Thanks again

That's purdy:D Since mine will be on the track about six, or eight days between now and tyehn, I think polishing might be a waste of time for me, although clean pretty cars are always faster than dirty ones;)

Looks like my tri-point widebody kit will be done on the vert in time along with my new engine that will now be a single turbo 1/2 bp.

I've seen Juni's vert the last few SS's and it is nice. Mine is much nicer though, if I do say so myself :D

Bryan is also looking to put mine in RX Tuner. Perhaps my photoshoot can take place in the courtyard ;)

fwiw, I'm putting my vote in for the Cosmo, Repu and rhd 1st gen.
Sorry Carl, no love for you as it would be either you or me (if either) ;)

rzograbian 08-05-05 03:43 AM

ey what about me!!??

Carl Byck 08-09-05 11:31 PM

I may withdraw, all this pretty stuff is too much for me, my car is a track car, not a show car. If it's a track car they want, I am there, if it's show car, then I am out. Dave your car will be on jackstands come SS8, I'll put money on that. Rzograbians is very pretty, wanna come to the track and play????

RX-Heven 08-13-05 08:37 PM

I'll take that bet.
Loser buys the winner a track day with someone other than NASA and the winner drives the losers car at the event.

Still wanna bet?

Carl Byck 08-15-05 01:43 AM

I said I'd put money on it, I didn't say how much. You have plenty, so let's see what you can do with it. I look forward to seeing something original at the show. Carl

Ill be there on Sat. with my widebody 84.Not that Im looking to win any contests, but if theres a daily driver entry,Ill put it up there.
Its clean, but hardly a showcar. Its got the typical frontend paint chips and a few stains in the carpet.Ive even thought about not cleaning the bugs off the front, just to prove I drove it down, and didnt tow!:-)

Nice 84! I can't wait to see the hood and ducting in person. Just like you, my ride isn't a trailer b!$^h.

BTW, all you have to do is drive up and show the car. If the spectators like it, they will vote for your car whether you register or not. That's what happened to my 2nd gen at Seventock 7. I rolled in, enjoyed the show and rolled out unexpectedly with best 2nd gen. I went for the show, not the accolades.

To see more of the FC, purchase the August edition of C16 magazine on sale now. For a more updated cosmetic and performance enhancements, stay tuned for Superstreet's November edition due out in mid October.

Hope to meet you all at SS8.
