The SoCalRX Club is proud to announce that SevenStockXII will be back for another round on September 26, 2009! The SoCalRX Club, along with Mazda USA will again have our Grand O' BBQ this year! We are very excited for this opportunity to hold our Annual BBQ on the Mazda Corporate site for the 4th year in a row. Mazda has their hearts and dedication focused on the Rotary Enthusiasts, YOU! We see the pride and dedication in these Rotaries that show up at the event, everything from RX-2's to RX-8's. It's no coincidence that 5000 people and over 500 RX's show up on a Saturday for what we like to call Rotary Nirvana. Visitors from Japan, Australia, and Europe have shown up for our BBQ, and this year is no exception. So get those projects on the fast track and get ready for another fun filled weekend on 9/26/09! Same day as Petit Le Mans, shoot, I was able to do both last year.

I will start my Planning, We dont know if we are going to make the 1500 mile trip or do the 24Hrs of Lemons Agian

^^^ Oh damn. Thats the weekend RIGHT before the FULL 24 HOUR Lemons Race in Ohio. That would be a long haul from Texas to California to Ohio and Back.

Sadly I cant bring any of my cars, but I have friends who can lend me a nice
rotary car so I can drive it to SevenStock.

I have never been , but would love to get my 7 show ready!

Am making plans this year, for whole week of place`s to visit when am in southern cal. And seeing a few friends who live there.

It's about time they announced it!! I'm so there!!!:icon_tup:

I'll definitely be there again. Only hope that my FD will make it this year. Might have to cut a few corners to make it with my set up.

I will be there, but I am flying in. Not doing that drive again.

jk....I only made it to SS8 and the drive..holy crap. My neck was all messed up from my shitty seats and my head like not moving for 8 hours. Carvan was epic though...15 rotarys doing 100-155mph through the grapevine with CHP everywhere, but somehow none of us got pulled over :lol:

I'm thinking about going...trying to decide if flying is easier or bumming a ride :D

Yeah I only had Friday off from work. I left Thursday in the afternoon, got to Cali on Friday without sleep. Went to the zoo, got to the hotel, pasted out. Stayed Saturday for the fun, and then left early Sunday morning to get back to work on Monday. I was a completely Zombie at work Monday. I wished that I had some rotaries to look at on the drive, but only came across an 8 when I got to AZ.

AA was cheaper for me than any other airlines and it was non-stop. But that is from TX.

I'm still deciding mode of transportation. Plane tickets to Socal are like $160 round trip :) But the trip to SS is kinda fun in a group.

and i'll be after that hot pocket of yours this year as well

You know you enjoyed that trip .... especially leaving at the last minute. hehe

The zoo was fun ... SS was better than I could've imagined.
