For now, all drivers need to be aware that they must fall in behind the tail car once the caravan is underway, especially those playing catch-up because they're running late.

pfft you're not the boss of me...

J/K ;) seriously its gonna be interesting to see exactly how many cars make it.

I should be either flying in from Oregon, or making the 850 mile road trip in my FC :)

spiritrmazda 07-05-12 08:34 PM

I can't wait. Hopefully I'll finish rebuilding my FD by then :).

You guys are awesome. Combining with Mazfest just makes this that much bigger of a draw.

mannykiller 07-06-12 03:32 PM

lol this is nuts.. I live 15 min away from willow springs. I'm right off the freeway so maybe i'll wake up early and post some sweet banner on the freeway over-pass just for kicks..

There were many reasons for this Frijolee... especially since I assist with both events and this makes it more attractive to Mazda, vendors, and enthusiast alike.

But all of the RX/Mazda enthusiast still have to PROVE that this was the right decision. If the enthusiast are all talk and the event is less than successful, then this will be the first and last. But so far the input has been strongly positive, so we hope this carries over to the actual event. :icon_tup:

For those that are on the fence because of the distance and the possibly your ride making it out, stay tuned. We will have some caravan news to help you all out.

Way to go Bern and getting SS15 in place! Sounds like this year will be a thriller and with the largest caravan ever from So cal, it should be one for the records book! We met up last year at the Fairgrounds and chatted for a bit , I hope you remember me?Looking forward to bring my cars up:)

not a bad drive from there up to willow springs.

Alex, let us know once you have that planned as we're in the process of organizing the World's LARGEST RX caravan and would love for you guys to join.
Stay tuned for details...

Non-Mazda vehicles are NOT allowed to sign-up yet. If the spots DO NOT fill up, then registration will be open to all vehicles, but for now Mazda only.

Hope to see you on track!

Bern,
The "best" watering hole for this area is "Schooners" in Lancaster. If you want, I can talk to them and make sure they're "geared up" for a major influx of Rotaries! Also, I was wondering if the local Mazda dealer would want to join in the fun/promo? If you want, I can talk to both and see what they say?
