How long, exactly is SevenStock?? Is it just the Saturday, the 28th, or will there also be worthwhile events going on, on the next day (sunday) as well??? Need to know for planning purposes; driving from Jerz, to Cali, to Miami, back to Jerz.

There's usually activites on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday....it all depends. Last sunday was a dyno/tuning day. Friday they did a charity car wash kinda thing. Either way....its a great weekend =)

So stoked, I will be there.

Anything against video cameras being present??? I'm an Art student in Seattle and I'm shooting a documentary for my portfolio class. I'm probably going to be in or around Irvine for Formula D round 7 and sevenstock is the day after from what I'm gathering... So any objections???

Why not stay at the Hilton along with most everyone else. Plus its right across the road from John Wayne Airport. :)

Well you see I don't have that much money right now being an Art School student. So i may not have $500 to drop on a weekend, I can get into Formula D for free since I'd be getting media credentials and I've already been cleared by Rick Damigella at G4 to shoot video of the event, and I get to shoot the first 3 tandems cause I'm a student and not making any money off this. So I don't know, sevenstock is what I want to go to, but my bank account isn't cooperating. Stupid money. WHY DO I GOTTA BE POOR?!?!?!?

Just thought of something, I may be able to justify the money if I could go around CA and get footage of garages/teams/cars etc. I'm doing a documentary on the spo-com scene and it was going to be a Pacific NW documentary, but I may adjust things if I can generate interest in something like this down south. In otherwords, people with cars wanting to be in it and if people like it they may kick some money my way for a DVD of it... Any takers???? I posted something about it in the NW forum, so if you have any questions about it pm me or check out the thread. I think it's called Pac NW sponsor/team/garage promo/show videos, I'm including my documentary in there too.

Just buy a plane ticket into Orange County (John Wayne) airport. From there I'm sure we could find someone to get you around for the weekend. Don't let distance discourage you from attending "Christmas in October."
