Machine the two surfaces, buy a new disk, make sure there are no leaks and call it a day. Grease and friction don't work very well (doesn't matter which side, it will still slip.)

I would say if you have just got the car and tracking it and don't know what is in the diff/trans/engine as far as oil, time to change it all with some synthetic and see if that fixes that issues....

The ratio's were good for a PPort? Really? If you have a 5.12 gear in the rearend maybe, but otherwise you are jumping out of the PPort power-band pretty darn quick!

You do run oil in the engine or the engine seizes. It means there is no oil in the combustion chamber when you delete the OMP.
