I have a bit of problem, I pulled the cover off my FCD and found the two wires hanging out as shown in the image below.

Make sure you check the front of the chassis...

Make sure you check the front of the chassis rails to. You really need to make sure that the front member are still straight. I would definitely check your bottom suspension arm on that side as well...

Yea but with the spacer the gas still has to turn once it hits the backplate which creates a lot of turbulence. Having more space for the turbulence wont help much but the added flow into the turbine...
