AL Help an old rotary dude out....

So I was helping my son with a TII 13BT engine that he bought from a guy that rebuilt it but didn't set the thrust bearing properly and the assembly had almost 3mm of slop/forward-rearward movement....

Just as Aaron stated, see what the ECU shows n a laptop or handheld. It shouldn't be anything major.
