As mentioned might want to rule out the turbo...

As mentioned might want to rule out the turbo seal before tearing it down...proper drain design,good crank vent etc.

yep the key is having the equipment...managed to do all the rear bushings and bearings with a bs press cobbled together with a 5 ton jack and the careful use of heat and cold..workarounds can work...

Well, what i wrote was partially B.S. as bolting my hub on the new spindle caused the same problem..but bolting the new hub on my spindle worked but the rotor is still very close to the caliper...

have an issue after getting a stubborn front rotor off, needed to be pressed out in the end ...I didn't pound on the rotor that hard but now have another problem I'm trying to figure out..assembling...

thanks for the advice..finally got it off with a makeshift press I cobbled up and 5 ton bottle jack...thought I was going to have to take it somewhere with a real press as it didn't budge even with 5...

hope you have a spare gauge if you try pulling the needle off...unlike other oem gauges these are very hard to get off without breaking...found out the hard way.

To do it right you have to also fill weld the inner ports on the FD upper manifold on one side about an 1 inch or so up into the port, then port match to the FC gasket.... otherwise the port doesn't...

maybe things have changed but I was told the flex agent they add is only beneficial till the paint cures ...i.e. doesn't do anything for paint flexibility otherwise. need to sand them out obviously...

Enkei offers the "RPF1" in a 17x8.5+30 in silver ...that is a nice light wheel that would fit your requirments...i.e. fit stock like suspension and not have roll with a 225/40R17 tire in the front...
