Do you think there will be any drifting going on? Excebition or a "try to drift" event? That would be fun as well. But I realize you can only cram so much into a weekend event

Got new shoes showing up for the FD tomorrow.

Fudge, doesn't seem like my car will be running any time before the event... due to my misadventures in street-porting.

Registration will close June 27th. After that will be considered "Late Registration" and an event t-shirt will not be included. We must give the printers time.

Time to sign up!

Holly,
Any chance we will see the legends (Jim or Rick) there?

Chad, I have to double check with Jim, but I think they are racing that weekend in Savannah at Roebling Road.

Ray, you need to sell me half of the white 12A, then I can drive it and you can maintain it.

What would be more unbelievable, is if you made it out in any of your rotary powered vehicles. You coming out Tim?

Iffy - I know Sunday is free, but I'd have to drive up after work on Saturday.

Anyone camping out or is everyone getting a room. A room at Hotel Holly I know that sounds bad so I'll clarify for those not in the know. Holly lives somewhat close by or did. I've been out of the loop again for a good while so I'm not sure anymore. You still near RA Holly?

Still only 14 miles between exits. LOL .. I think my place was called Hotel 7 North and Girod's was Hotel 7 South. It has been a while since the Hotel was full of rotorheads. Time flies... memories. Usually out of state rotorheads would stop here. I think Phil and Jeremy were the last guest, staying for Drift Atlanta. I used to accept cool t-shirts for payment, then it was you had to make breakfast.. now no charge.

Most of the guys going to ZoomFest live on this side of town and are within 15 to 40 miles away. I think there has been some talk of camping out, depending on the weather.

I'll be camping rain or shine. I "should" have my tent that can sleep 2 adults comfortably and 3 with no problems if need be. Your more than welcome to bunk up if you need. The tent was waterproof last i used it 6 years ago

Also I know a few of the guys at the Hartwell OGTA meet said they were camping. Hopefully there will be good weather and lots of people staying out all night.

Holly,

You ever hear from the old group like Brian Murray, Ryan McDonald, Carl, JJ Kobs, Steve Capelli, Doug Underwood, Riley, Mike (of ball-vicec racing fame of which I still have my blue shirt, also got the old shirt that John Wise and a just drew a blank.. wait, Dave ?? made back in 98), etc? I see David New posts some on here still but he's the only one. I remember a meet at the 3 dollar cafe on Barrett Pkwy, where the sprinkler system for the lawn area kicked while we were inside eating. When we came out, of course some of us had left our windows cracked, Brian Murray being one of them and that sprinker head not being able to be used after a couple of Murray kicks to it I'm actually having fun again tinkering on the 3 7's now and hope to make a meet again. Kellie and I have hit our 10 year anniversary so it's time to make it out again!

Tim

Brian and Carl are brother in laws now. Carl married Brian's Sister. Brian has pilots license. I saw Carl just before the Mitty, as he made it to the shop for to see the 792P. I saw JJ at some event, but it has been years now. And, I saw Ryan at the Varsity over a year ago now. Cappelli is out of the rotary world. Haven't seen Underwood, since I first made it back to ATL in mid 2002. Vice, married, divorced, has a son, in Mobile now and I think he is into boxing now .. no rotaries. Been several years since I IMed John Wise, not sure where he is now. David Girod is married now too, no rotaries now. The 3 dollar cafe meet I remember was the one where we stood in the parking lot and kept warm with large catback on Keith's car. Keith is married now too.

Congrats to you and Kellie on the 10 years. Any children yet, or just the rotary babies?

From that post above. Everyone needs to come out to ZoomFest so you can start friendships like the ones I talked about above.

There is a few of us around. Congrats to you Chad and your wife too.

And David New has come out to some of our dinner get togethers, mostly when sushi is involved.
