Wanted: Cigar info in Miami (Little Havana) area.
 

Hey guys.

My gf will be in Miami.
And will be stopping by the Little Havana area for me.

Where is a good place to go shop for cigar related items (cigars, cutters, lighters, humidors, ashtrays, etc.)??? Please be specific and provide me w/ an address, website, street name, etc.

I searched on my cigar board and came up with the following. The El Ray de los Habanos factory, the first cigar factory started by Don Pepin Garcia, is located at 1120-1124 SW 8th St. They have a little shop but do not allow tours. El Credito is nearby as well and they do tours, 1106 SW 8th Street (just a few doors down), home of La Gloria Cubana. From what I'm reading, she may not want to wander around by herself, apparently it can be kind of "rough". If she's going to be by Miami Beach, Tropical Cigars is supposed to be the best place, located at 741 Lincoln Rd. Another good shop is Sabor Havana Cigars, located at 10101 Sunset Drive. It's owned by a guy named Gabe and if you tell him you're from CigarPass.com, the first cigar's on him.

That's all I've got at the moment. A bit of advice though. Tell her if she's thinking of trying to find some Cubans down there as a surprise gift to you or something, that you appreciate the thought but not to think about it. It simply won't happen. If you DO want some, let me know and I'll set you up with a list of known reputable vendors. There are some REALLY good looking fakes out there, some you won't know until you actually light up, so it's easy to get duped unless you've had them already and know what to look for.

Authentic Cuban cigars...not a problem for me. But if you've got a hookup, my eyes and ears are always open. haha.

i can get better info from people who goto these cigar shops, i got a couple buddies from club s2k who go to em alot and know some good smokes and locations.
