Supra/Z/RX7 event! Oct19: Road course. Oct20: 1/4 dragstrip w/ mobile dyno & car show
well I am still coming but looks like I am skiping out on racing. Just got of the dyno, Inproved to 504 @22.5psi. Turned the boost up and started getting break up. Not comfortable running it again until I figure it out. But still coming not sure if I will bring the FD as then I would be fighting running it.....
Great event, went really smooth. Very little car trouble and absolute perfect weather. Wish we would of had a better turn out from the 7 community but my car wasnt ready in time either so I can definately understand. Nice to meet the new people I met this weekend. Some quality cars showed up and ran some nice times on the track.
Thanks to Chris (SPICcnmGT) for giving me a ride on the road coarse, however I could only take 3 laps before I wussied out. Totally different perspective when you are in the car compared to standing on the side watching. Congrats to those that won and thanks to everyone for coming to the event.

I took some pics.. I'll post it tomorrow!
I had a great time at the track yesterday and WILL definitely do it again!! Can't wait for the next event!!!
By the way, Chris (SPICcnmGT) won the fastest track time at the event!! Congrats and way to represent the rotary community!
I also want to thank David Jerome, Jeremy Blackwell, and the Speed for Sale crew for organizing this event. The event was VERY professional and well organized.. I also wished there were more 7 community and to be honest, this was by far the best FUN I've had in a LONG time! I also would like to thank my instructor, Mark (Wrong Motor.com) for showing me the ropes
See some of you next time!!

Also I ran out of gas toward the end and had to come in in the middle of the session.. That was disappointing.. I put 100 miles on a tank of gas.
The supra that won the drag strip competition ran a 9.8 @ 151 thru the factory 6 speed tranny. Impressive to say the least. The 300zx that was running 10.2 was having trouble with his nitrous setup and was only able to spray about the first 100ft. Who knows what time he would have been able to put down being able to spray the whole track, however he was running a th400. I had a great time and hope to have my car there for the next event which should be sometime in early march.
On a side note if Chris hadnt shown up the 7s wouldnt have won anything.
