A strange request
 

I have been looking for a new project and have always been partial to the Rx7 FD. The problem is I've never been in one. If any kind soul would be willing to meet me somewhere and show me their car, and if they feel comfortable give me a ride. If there is a group or local club nearby that would be great to meet up as well. I live near Auburn AL, a short-ish drive to Atlanta, Birmingham, Montgomery, and I'm in the Pensacola FL area every now and then too.

Why don't you hit up a few Cars and Coffees around you like Atlanta or Birmingham? I'm sure some FDs will be at them on occasion.

Thanks, I hadn't heard of those before. It looks like they meet on the first sunday of the month. Which just happens to be this coming up sunday. I'll definitely try to make that :)

We're talking about taking a trip in a few weeks to Destin. When we figure out the dates I'll defently see if you are available.
