Val, have you had any new info in the shirts... like you said... first the 28 the you said it was gonna take 4 to 6 weeks.. that puts you on the 12th which is today..... I think everyone that has payed for the shirt would like to know whats up!!!!!

I spoke to Jeff today and he said that they have not come in yet... so he will call me as soon as they do...

Its unfortunate that the first batch was botched by the embroiderer or else we would have had the shirts by now and not have to mess with it anymore...

I am doing what i can to stay on top of things... I am again alone in this...

I have been talking to a guy in Orlando that may work on the club website since no one out here in MIAMI has stepped up or even volunteered any input... let me correct that.. input is not enough... i need for you to get your hands in the Dough !!!

I suppose that I am going to start appointing officers if they can .. that can get involved because honestly its too much for me to handle all by myself.

Here are the names of the persons that I have approached for the positions:

Paul - Lucky7305

The website i would think would cost money to run... as well as other things... so I have spoken to other clubs and what they have set up to offset some of these costs.

One.. there will be bylaws set up
Two.. Rules of Conduct
Three.Dues whether they will be monthly or semi annually or just one time payment

I have set up three more clubs in Florida and they are
CENFLA RX CLUB -Tony Marquez
WESTFLA RX CLUB - Jose Rivera
NORFLA RX CLUB - Jason Pappadopolous

Its been talked over for some time about having one set due one time that would include the following:
Annual Membership, Club T-Shirt, Keychain, Small Window Decal, Plasticized ID Card.

- In addtion to the bi-weekly meets we would also have one meeting a month both in Dade and Broward Counties,
- Every other month each member can have their own theme meet and that person can do the leg work and organize it.
- We could also do a benefit run or event for a charity to raise funds for that specific charity
- Have a tech class
- Pick a day to have a Dyno test day
- Go to Eldis car wash for discounts on detailing.
- Go out to a restaurant some night all together as a group
- Have our own Car Show
- Softball games competing with other clubs in Florida.
- Get discounts from select retailers on parts, accessories, and services
- Have a raffle online for one member each month (Perhaps?)

Some of these have been ideas that some people have voiced over time.

Any more suggestions ,,, please feel free to voice them....

I dont know anything about the MRCCFL... I only know that there were some problems so that is why there are separate entities for the different areas of Florida. My understanding from Jason is that NORFLA will cover the Jax and Gainesville areas... I am not familiar with the upper portion above Orlando so that is all i can say for now... I am planning on attending some meets up north to see what the rotary activity is like up there.

Sal- RosRex7 came down from G-ville for our dynoday in Orlando in his black 94 FD on 1 turbo that backfired and shot flames. I think it is the same distance or shorter than going to Jax. If interested we have a meet posted on 5/21 at Anthony's Pizza in Orlando an all day/night? meet. Also, you can order a CenFlaRxClub shirt from one of the officers that is listed on meet thread. Not that it would matter but I think you'll need to break the state down into smaller groups if you want active participants in each area.

Nothing yet... as I have said previously ,,, its unfortunate that the first batch of shirts at the time of HMS were botched up... had you been there at the meeting the night before HMS or at HMS on saturday morning you would have known what was up... I cant give you the shirtmakers phone number because then i have to give it to the other 40 persons... imagine what that would be like if he had to recieve all those calls... I call him and I ask... and the last thing he said to me last friday was that they were still on back order.. in other words they have not come in... I am just as anxious as you are to get them... this really has been more of a headache to have to deal with but there is nothing i can do... I put down a considerable deposit as it was required of me. If you had scrolled above you would have read:

I have tried to look for them elsewhere but to no avail... Now there are at least 40+ persons that have sought interest in having this type of shirt... why isnt anyone lifting up a finger to try to locate them.. and even when at the time i sought help from you guys and only two persons like Ian "3GRX7" and Junior "boricuarx7" were the only ones that actually tried to help. Im sorry Alex "Directfreak and Frankie "Kandela" were both with men (not at the same time) when the shirt order was being put in with Jeff.

I am trying to do the best that I can with what I have to work with and you know that... and I am sure that everyone here knows that as well.. I dont need the unecessary pressure or threats.. what for ? its not worth it. So relax that I am continuosly working on it as i have from the very start.

Damn... I know I'm not part of the club or w.e. But it seems there's always some sort of drama with this... I just can't believe its taken 2 months just for a shirt... I'm glad I wasn't part of the group buy, this is just rediculous...

I totally agree with 550rwhrex,
If they can't be completed by June 2, then "Jeff" the shirt maker needs to give us our money back and we will gladly re-order them when he recieves them. I feel ,we as a club , have been very patient with "Jeff" and if he can't deliver then we need to move on. Val, as the "President" and organizer, please contact "Jeff" and give him OUR altimatum so that all this "DRAMA" with the Crew shirts can disappear and we can look into other options.
