Guys, as of now, the weather map shows rain all day tomorrow, Sat. Feb 28. My 88 Vert does not like the rain, and I for one am not excited about looking at everyones car if it is raining. I will be miserable, as well as I am sure some of you who have really nice interiors also do not want to have it exposed to the rain.

I am going to do everything I can to be their as long as it is not raining. But if it is raining, then I suggest we move it to next saturday. As I only live about 5 miles from the Varsity, I will post here at 12:00 what the weather is like.

Hopefully we can still meet. I really do want to try to get a local RX-7 club in the Atlanta area.

Any other comments are appreciated.

ok people lets do this quick, when would we decide to reschedule this meet? the following sat. is still good for me but i don't know if everyone(my crew) would be able to come out. the only way if you guys want to see some cars i can have all those cars at my shop in covington and we can do the meet there if you guys wish. let me know, it's just suggestions.

Guys, as of now it is raining in Alpharetta. Not heavy, but enought to not want to be standing around looking at cars.

As of now 11:51 the rain is comming down much heavier. I am not the one to make the decision to keep this meeting as scheduled, but I have decided to take my girls bowling. At least I will stay dry, and earn brownie points from the wife.

The 10 day forecast does not show much better for next weekend, so I say we play it by ear.

soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo, i got a fone call this morning from my friend Raf (KillahRx7) asking if i was going to meet up with him or not, so i told yea ill go, so i ended up heading out to Covington (30min drive), and well..... i dont regret it.. i will be working with Raf on seeing if we can get more Rotaries to show up, for maybe a possible RX7 meet.. oh and forgot to mention.. dynoed my POS today (i was aiming for 92 hp 80trq) and ended up dyno-ing at 110hp 105trq!! lol now.................................... Turbo Time!! haha, now im aiming for 400!!

Keep us informed if you and the other guys set up a time for a meet. I am hoping we can still get together soon.

Im new to rotaries but I would be interested in meeting up with the local 7 people. I live in Kennesaw so Alpharetta is not to far. Id love to see what everyone has and to be able to pick your minds. My car is a basically stock 94. I will be looking at upgrades soon but I need to figure out the reliability mods first. Email me if anyone comes up with a date for the meets or if there is one soon. That's right, you guys need to get some kind of local meetings going. The whole idea is for us Atlanta rotary folks (there are hundreds, I know about 20) to get together on a regular basis, that's what the OGTA's do.

I think what made OGTA work was conenience - it's on a regular (first tues/lonth) weekday evening so folks can make it after work (night out with the boys works for the wife) and not lose a weekend (big plus with the wife; for you guys who are wifeless, read __________ .)

So instead of these big weekend blowouts that nobody can make, why not do a convenient "first tuesday of the month" as some super convenient place in Alphabetta (we do Jefferies in Suwanee, they love it). Then when you get critical mass go weekend.

By the way you guys are all invited to Crit's rotary lake house bash this summer. Right Crit?

Guys, I for one do not want to take anything away from the OGTA get togethers. I was looking forward to meeting many of you for the first time at the April get together, but at the last minute due to a baby sitter canceling out on me I could not make it.

I think the main reason for some guys trying to get together on a Saturday was just to meet a few other RX-7 owners and eat some Varsity chili dogs.

Personally, I cannot wait until the May 5th OGTA get together, but still that is another 3 weeks away. And what if it is pouring down raining. I would love to bring my 88 Vert, but, I just don't want to drive it in the rain. Thus, having the opportunity to meet with you guys every once in a while on another day might be eaiser for others.

In any case, I look forward to meeting some of you guys on May 5th.
