Rotary Rally Drive up from miami / SF
 

Hello , well i'm planning on Going up to the event this year. and I was wondering if people normally Go up in some sort of caravan ? or just on their own ? its a long drive up from Miami . and being that its my first time . I was curious as to what previous rallyers( <-- definitely an invented word ) do.

Look for the DGRR announcements, caravan info from different locations will start soon after.

Melbourne, Fl here... I'm heading up on Wednesday to meet the Alt caravan on Thursday afternoon

I wish.....I will be missing work the next three Fridays due to trips......my boss won't let me take any more days off!!!

I was thinking of leaving Miami , Wed night drive all night avoid the FL traffic basically , whats your plans ? maybe I'll head up and meet with you if you are planning something similar

heck i'll take central FL to! LOL anyone haha

best bet is to hook up with the guys from Melbourne....

Don't think any of us from S Fl are making the trip this year....

Is this up to Atlanta? during 19-21?

I could only squeeze thurs and friday off work .

No this event is to the dragon , in North carolina , event actually starts on the 18th , and finishes on the 21'st but some people are meeting up with the a big group of cars to caravan up to the dragon from atlanta .


I'm stuck leaving miami on Wed night nice long night cruise. LOL , if you are interested in going maybe you can drive up with some people to help make hte trip a bit more interesting I'm meeting up with a friend in orlando as he's in the same boat as I .

Sounds fun, but work would scrutinize me if i dared to ask almost 5 days off haha and Exams the following week. But i am down for any Florida events in the near future.

I want to leave miami around 1pm.on wed I can try and leave a bit earlier .


But I need to go into work for a bit

I'll talk to my boss and see if I can squeeze out earlier .

would that be ok to meet up with you ? or would that be to late

google map says its a 3.5 hour drive hoping that traffic isn't bad at that time of the day
