Question for Turboren? or Directfreak?

Ok so since you guys don't want us posting for sale/ want to buy threads here in the SE section. is there any way we can get our own for sale section like the South section has?

ill gladly be a moderator if one is needed.

i just think it makes selling things locally much easier, rather than digging through other peoples posts in the Classifieds section.

Just post it in the "For Sale" section, and place another post here with a link to the original post.

I have not been deleting or moving them if done in that manner.

not arguing*

but whats the difference in posting it with a link going to another post and just taking the time to make 2 threads? its the same thing.

I understand the desire to sell stuff locally, but the fact of the matter is that we have a forum specifically designed for this. By keeping the sale threads in one area, it keeps this forum from looking like a marketplace. If every region had a seperate forum like that (South also has a Lounge of its own, because they apparently couldn't keep themselves from whoring up relevant threads with irrelevant posts), there'd be no reason to have a for sale/wanted forum at all. People are smart enough to search for stuff if they really want it. If you follow the instructions for posting such threads (location and price are mandatory), your items should be able to sell locally.

BTW, the South has the seperate lounge, but the West (not the South) has its own for sale/wanted forum (don't ask me why). Canada and Europe have their own sale/wanted forums for obvious reasons.
