pulling engine
 

hey i live in central FL and i need help pulling out my engine, tranny is alreddy off but i dont have an engine hoist, anybody willin to help? any kind of help will be appreciated

oh yea, and i have money too :bigthumb: if thats an issue

It's too bad that he is not closer to where you are because he pulled my motor out in less than 1 hour.

For what he charged me it would be worthwhile if you wanted you could fly him out there on Jet Blue or Southwest Airlines. He could fly in , take your engine out and be on a plane the same day back to Miami. You do have to feed him of course.. his favorite is the sampler platter from Dennys and an Apple Crisp a la mode dessert. :rlaugh:

Anyway, It is a suggestion because he did a good job on taking out my motor.

I may not be that handiest in regards to tech talk but between my wife and myself (and a Haynes RX-7 tech book) we've replaced a total of 3 rotaries. my brother in law helped as well.we rented each time a hoist from Discount Auto. we once swapped engines between 2 RX's in @ 6 hours. not bad 4 do-it-yourselfers.

dam too bad all of u are in miami, anybody in central Fl.? and how much does renting a hoist cost?
