Nope - no saving it. Side's caved in and on a salvage title. You'd have a hard time getting a rebuilt title issued and getting the vehicle insured.
That's got a nice interior... love the brown. It'd be a good donor car for sure. Have any of you guys bought a car through Copart? I've always been curious how difficult it was going through a broker and what fees they tacked on.
I haven't bought through copart, but my understanding is that in GA you don't have to have a license and you don't have to go through a broker. When you search, you can filter by "No license required". I'm seeing GA, NC, and MS with that selected (sorted based on distance from Cumming, GA), so SC and AL probably require a broker.

The wife gave me a lot of grief driving so far with the van to pull the car back, but it's got much more power, transmission cooler, and far better brakes than my Dakota's single-channel ABS and rear drums ever had. A few months later that van got clobbered and written off, but it was fun while it lasted.

Our Nissan Quest minivan had about zero sexappeal, but the utility of that vehicle could not be beat. Towing the boat, going camping, going hunting, roadtrip to Disney, hauling all sorts of stuff, it could do it all (even some off-roading, but let's keep quiet about that)

The day has arrived when you can buy a nice RX-8 for less than a decent 1st gen.

With almost the same kid hauling capacity as a minivan!

I'd be interested but the ebay bid will be twice as much as that red rotory powered mini-van.
A couple years ago you could have picked up that brown 83 GSL for less than $2000.
Triple that now.

I had the RB Header full exhaust, presilencer on my 85 five letter. I liked it! It wasn’t much louder than stock but had a few grumble sounds to it on decel. Looked great in the “under the hood” bling department. Glad to see you mugs are still slicing and dicing it up on here. Not a wankel but just put a new fuel pump on the Boinger Miata. Made a huge difference. I think it was getting weaker a long time before it gave out. Had no CEL’s which made it fun tracking down the problem. All is good back in NE Ohio! Looks like you guys are all good too!
We're good Paul, now that we've got a decent President.
Congrats on the new fuel pump, nothing like solving a problem to make your day.
And that black Miata of yours sure is pretty, imagine if it had a 12A in it?
That brown 1983 GSL up there went for $4,250 on ebay, wow.

Hold onto your FBs and SAs dudes, they're gonna be 100k cars pretty soon.
