Crit and Billy,
I will be in my lifted chevy diesel but will have a rotary motor in the bed so that counts as a rotary powered truck, right!

Ive been meaning to fix that panel..... well it depends on the customer with the lambo. If it is one of our usuals and he can take one of ours. Most of them dont even take a car they just use one of their others. I have noticed that people do the weirdest/nastiest **** when they get a loaner though like it instantly becomes time to take the dog to the vet or go off roading or smoke a pack and a half of cigarettes and leave the butts in there for me to dispose of

That'll be a bit harder since I got the 9k image by converting it to an 8 color gif file, the car would look awful like that. Also, there is a size limit too, which you're already violating. ( I tried to fix it once before, but you called it "too squished").

Is the whole panel missing or just a section of it? That seems pretty shitty for a Lotus replacement

So I got the keyless entry junk today. The mail lady decided to sit it on the lid of the mailbox like she does every other package I get. Aren't they required to bring those down to the house?

Anyways, it took a few hours to install, like 3pm-7pm, but it could have been done in a little over an hour. I decided it would be fun to hook everything up outside the car and play with the actuators... But it's on, and I'm happy. The only thing that bugs me is that they automatically lock 35 seconds after the ignition is turned off. And there's nothing to detect if the keys are still in the ignition or not. So hopefully theres a way to make it stop that. I only hooked up the basics since that's all I really wanted, but theres a few things I'll wire in once I get more time. There is a blinking light I might splice into the stock security light, one to trigger the horn, one for the parking lights to flash, and if I get a little attachment it can become an alarm that has a starter-kill.

Night ya'll. See you Saturday!

And not a bullet hole in it. Nice find, though I'm not so sure about the $750

The "runs as good as it looks" comment is what I find funny. I'm not sure how to take that.

Hey Tim, I can take care of your fuel line replacement if I can get down to the next meet. I love working on the FD. They made me quite busy in hawaii.. Anyways , if you wanted I could maybe try to come down Monday afternoon or stay up late tuesday night working and driving back to Charlotte. Just a thought. I saw a post Crit made about a friend in need and remembered you replacing the FPD. Was thinking it might be you.
I'll see what i can do about time off. My normal day off is tuesday so it works for getting down there.

Just thought I'd offer.

Dave

MazMart

Does anyone have that link to the MazMart event? I've got to leave early tomorrow, but I will be there at ten. I'd just like to know what the agenda is.

So many social obligations, so little time....

Greg Holly has a separate post on the SE section for the mazmart thing, it should be near the top and has all the info, although the agenda is not very specific about when things are happening.

So today was fun. I got to meet a lot of people that I only knew on here by usernames, like that SirCygus? guy. I'm even going to meet one guy that was there in a while to swap my manual window tracks and handles and armrests for his power window set up. Glad I got to go. I'll be at the Tuesday meet too

You like working on FDs? Are you sick in the head? You do realize it is stock .

I'll take a look tomorrow and see if I can see what's going on. Figure out where to go from there. I do need that thing back on the road. It's too pretty to be sitting.

It was good to see everyone again (those of you whom I know) and again I only met 3-4 new people. I say we need name tags for us and our cars.

I will be at the OGTA this Tuesday. Rey, if you could bring the FB fan that would be great. Crit, I don't know if we said I needed anything else for the FB at the Mazmart meet, but I remember something along the lines of you asking me if I was going to the OGTA on Tuesday, and to let you know before hand. I forgot if you're bringing something, if we're taking a look at a problem, or what, it just escaped my mind, but I'll be there haha.
