Dang Tommie, you got some of the Bronze Statues of OGTAdom in that photo! Nice shot!

Andy, Crit, Billy, the Holly Machine, those young guys with boingers. It don't get no better than that!

I'll be there Feb 5 in the LE, the Rotary Gods will be pleased.

And yeah, some daylight would be nice.

Could we meet at 6:00 pm?

Here's the perfect 12A project for those looking for a 4 door rotary.

https://athensga.craigslist.org/cto/...787176294.html

Drop a freshly built 12A in there and the Rotary Gods will be pleased.

Na, get a renisis engine. Keep it all renisis (A/C, ignition, alternator etc) except the headers and the fuel system. Then seal off the intake/exhaust (side port garbage) and drill holes in some Turbo ii housing. Pair of webbers feeds the engine. So you get left with a cool RX8; which is pretty hard to find.

5k would take everything and all the other parts that i have accumulated over the yrs.

mid jan bump for those that were interested. will soonl be moving to the classifieds.

My 1985 GS needs new battery cables. Does anybody know where I can get OEM, or good copies, for replacements?

I ditched the fusible links in favor of an FC fuse block, but I re-did mine with the Walmart ground straps. I got a 12" one for the positive cable and it bolted right into the FC fuse block. The ground strap is more intuitive. Walmart sells a 4' cable as well; use that one to ground the engine. Gotta strip out a section to get the part that touches the body.

why not retro fit 2 guage battery cables which any auto parts store has. the thicker copper cables have got to be more conductive than the OEM thin aluminum cables. just keep the oem connection points, don't try to tidy up the engine bay

Don't mean to be that guy, but if its on youtube its already digital. Now if you pulled out an 8mm projector (which I'm sure you have Ray) and brought it to a meet to watch vintage film about rotary racing, it would be all analog, nothing digital about it. Let me know when this will take place. I'll be there.

I remember watching movies at ZoomFest, wow, was that like 9 or 10 years ago? Time flies.

It's the Great Donnie Bragg (Mr. Wankel) back at Zoomfest '09 launching himself into the Wild Blue for the first time.

I think he was 18 years old.

Analog all the way (ask YaYo, he was filming with the 8mm).

Here's a pic of the demo van that year, Donnie is in the middle holding his ****.

Time is running out for sure.

There's not been a sign of ice on the fish pond in my back yard this winter, that's never happened before.

Global Warming is here and it's serious. Think hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and fires.

For you guys who live in gated communities, think economic collapse.

Also, what about your tax returns? Are you really better off?

Only good news is that 1st gen RX-7's have a life expectancy of 74 years, which should get my 83 LE to 2057 (I'll be 105).

If the beach doesn't get here first.

Same salary three years.. my taxes return was $457 better than previous two years. My take home is better by $47.00 per pay period. No complaints here. As for Global warming? Make up your mind.. warming, cooling or change? I agree with change.. we’ve been recording the weather accurately for roughly 250 years.. but not all over the world and earth is said to be 6 billion+ years old.. I’m thinking weather has changed a ton up and down and will continue to do so. I’m also thinking we can’t do much about the sun.. it is a factor is it not? I know you guys love your Nikki’s... I had one.. but I far more like my fuel injection.. but then again I’m a 13b kinda dude. One thing for sure.. all of ours are beautiful!!

Yup.

You got some good points there Paul, change is change.

The only question is, what kind of change do you want?

More filthy billionaires like Donald Trump? Or more middle class workers like you and me?

And I respect you're love for FI.

However FI will not get you into Rotary Heaven.

And those perks in your paycheck? They are just dust, not real dollars.

There are 2200 billionaires. I will never be one. Not even Lebron James will ever be one. But I don’t bear any grudge against them. More power to em! I’m probably happier than they are anyway. So much responsibility. All I want next is a black, clean TII at an affordable price to go with my Black SE. !! I know I know... fat and dumpy.. but I’d still like to have one. I drove a brand new one back in the day.. nice ride. As for a black FD? Yea I’d like one too to go with but they just don’t seem to be a very good reliable 7 like the FB’s. Gorgeous though. Anyway, I quit smoking Jan 2nd. Quit drinking too.!! Straight as an arrow and going back to a workout schedule. Diagnosed last week with emphysema from all my hard years of cigs..guess I waited too long to quit.. it was fun but time to grow up and drive my 7 more often. Work on it too! Been home sick last couple weeks from severe upper respiratory problems.. I’m kind of fond of breathing so it’s time to get real. All is good.. I got an award winning RX7 in the garage!!! Can’t get any better than that!!

Yeah my take home went up a bit and I didn't owe taxes this year, even got a $2.00 refund, yeah thats right 2 bucks!

Climate change is real but is it all our fault? Jury is still out. Doesn't mean we shouldn't look to improve things.

My view is the goofball in the whitehouse is driving the 2 parties to work together, which is a good thing. Both parties have been too extreme left or right, we need more middle.

Ray, my Dad, who is 91, calls the Donald "The Supreme Idiot", his capitalizations. You two would really get along well for sure.

Yeah and we're in the same age bracket too. Introduce me sometime Tim he sounds like a cool dude.

Good to hear you quit smoking Paul! We need to keep you around long enough for me to convert your politics.

I know that stuff about cigarette smoking is bad for your health is a liberal conspiracy designed to cut into Big Tobacco profits.

A hoax for sure, just like Global Warming and the Anthropocene. That's what Rush Limpbrain says so it must be true.

Still you can't be too careful with your health.

Speaking of Rush, I have a new nickname for one of Limpbrain's biggest fan's: ##### $$$$$ %% @@@@ !

(Otherwise known as The Donald).

Dude's, check out the newest bling for the LE:
