A cat's ear actually. I found it on the internet.

Good eye Tim!

Did anybody go to the OGTA meeting last night?

Sounds like you stripped the gears Collin, how'd you do that?

I don't have an s4, but I have several s3's.

They are better than the s4's, which were down graded as a cost cutting measure.

Part of the FC slide.

Let me know, OGTA discounts apply.

It happened when I'd done a 2nd and 3rd gear pull.. at the top of 3rd I changed into 4th, and when I accelerated from the next traffic light and got into third again the noise was evident.

I ended up finding the one I needed from Zac. Just waiting on some new seals before I toss it in.

Classic insurance

guys, Ive been looking all around the country at 7’s and what they going for. Mine is incredibly stock and incredibly clean in all respects other than short shift, power antenna and rb header exhaust. It’s obvious that I need to have classic car insurance on it. Anybody have any suggestions on a good insurance company for strictly classic status?

I have both American collectors and Hagertys. American collectors insurance is your best deal for a stock vehicle. Hagertys for modified cars

I have Hagerty on the 7 and 8. I havent had to use it, but I have heard good things about them and they understand how people use these cars. When I was looking for classic car insurance, a lot of the companies dont allow you to drive to work on nice days, or say you can't use the car to drive to the hardware store. Hagerty had the best policy for ne and how I use my cars.

GB7 and Tommy thank you!! I went on line ,before I asked, and Hagerty looks like good choice. But will check the other out too. Most 7’s nowadays are repainted, modified etc. it’s becoming harder to find true “survivors” like mine. I still get a Woody when I crawl underneath to view how original and clean it is. Prices are getting higher and standard insurance only covers mine to $5k. I updated it last year to $7500 but that’s just way short. Time to do it right.

The LE is on the Road Again, making the daily 110 mile round trip commute into Atlanta.

She sure is sweet, and that TW12A sings like Taylor Swift.

Look for me out on I85.

Here's some pics, check out that special Vanity Plate I snagged.

Paul, I insure all my cars minimally, no comprehensive whatsoever.

Insurance companies are Capitalist Rip Offs (Pigs, some people say).

The first person they'll screw is their customer.

Besides, you wouldn't want some incompetent Hack Shack working on that precious SE of yours, would you?

Much better to do it yourself with the money saved by not buying all that stupid insurance.

Ray, that is a beauty!

Paul, I also have Haggerty and have it insured for a specified value (you dictate how much you value it and they charge accordingly). If must not be a daily diver of course, must be parked in a garage, and they do have some restrictions of some sort but you’ll need to look those up as I don’t remember them myself now. If that’s fits you, then it is much cheaper than standard insurance.

Ray! If you enter it at DGRR make sure you park it with the other FB’s. I’m 99.9% sure they never judged mine this year. Especially after seeing 2nd and 3rd place. Nobody told me to park out back so I was parked with the FC’s same as last year.

well yes it’s garaged, no never been a DD in 13 years but I do pleasure drive very short forays when the weather permits. Other than that a trip to DGRR (but not next year) last two years. Has seen rain three times in 13 years. I’m thinking of designating a figure around $17k.

Have yet to meet you all, but I'm going to wish you an early Halloween anyway. Hope to have my SA on the road soon so that I can make it to an OGTA meeting.

Thanks GTY and Tim, we have high standards here at OGTA, thanks to you guys.

Maxda, with a name like Maxda and an SA, you are now an official OGTA member with all the rights and privileges bestowed by the Rotary Gods.

Welcome to the club! Got pics?

Paul, the SE looks fantastic! Is that original paint?

I like it but I have a hard time with the Black. Reminds me of a period in my early 30's when I was suffering from depression.

I painted my red 4 door 122 Volvo black, looked cool but very depressing.

Long story, but it turned out OK after I got an '81 Toyota Corolla wagon.

And yeah, Halloween is going to be Great the Year!

Me and the Key OGTA's, Mike, Robert and Tim, are going to the Mountain Top to commune with the Rotary Gods.

We want to come up with a clever strategy for getting Trump out of office.

Like, we were just sent in to clean the carpets, that's all.

And then after we took out the vacuum cleaner we couldn't find President Trump.

Not sure what happened, might have been Rogue Killers, we don't know.

We'll see what happens.

that’s just it.. I asked and they said I was good. But as the day went on I noticed too late that the other two FB’s near me had moved but I didn’t know where they went till about 10:30. Ray YES the paint is original and the undercarriage is as impressive as the paint. I’m blessed by the Rotary gods to have had such caring 1st and 2nd owners.
