Always nice to see that turbo mastered 12A of yours Alex!
Ben they put this thing called "infinite scroll" on the forum, supposed to be cell phone friendly (I guess computers are out of date).
You can change it back to the classic style by scrolling all the way down to the bottom of the page, past that FC crap, to the "style chooser" in lower left hand corner of the page. Switch this back to the classic style. You will need to do this every time you log onto the forum.
It's all part of the right wing conspiracy to take something that works and make it worse.

yes i did get it from him i cant wait to get it installed im gathering all the parts I still need to figure out the oil feed line and the return oil line.
The LE is coming along.
I just finished painting the window and door trim satin black this afternoon, the masking tape comes off tomorrow.
Also now is the time for a complete brake job, so I've got a new pair of front calipers and pads arriving from Rock Auto today.
All new parts for the drum system going in the rear.
Those drum brakes are pretty complicated, first time I've done those since my '78 MGB days. But fun.
The TW12A is sweet, purrs like a kitten.
The low oil pressure concern turned out to just be a bad oil pressure sensor.
I replaced it with a good one yesterday, now we are reading 60 lb at 2000 rpm, dropping 20 at idle.
Perfect.
We still have a small issue with the Nikki, she hesitates on the fuel delivery once she's warmed up.
I think I'll pull her tomorrow and give her a nice manicure, she'll like that.
The LE BBS wheels are simply beautiful.
They have the Falken Azenis's mounted. The center caps are incredible.
Nothing like brand new set of Falkens on an expertly restored set of LE BBS wheels to make a car pop.

Why not new wheel cylinders... They are only a couple of bucks and you have them off already.
You are right James, time for new cylinders in the rear. And fresh shoes, for sure.
Here's the cylinders all painted up with the caliper paint, they're the little do-dads in the middle.
I got them off Rock Auto about a year ago, along with the drums. Dirt cheap, Wholesale close out.
Figured I'd need them someday.

RAY..you will notice that your Posts have been Edited...(posting as I had received complaints and this needs to be straightened out for you and any other future posting by any member.)
If you would kindly keep the Political banter out of this thread it would be appreciated.
If you would like to share your Political views you can post them in the Lounge as there is a specific section for such conversation at that.
Members in this section would like to read and gather automobile and regional info and not have to be plagued with the tapping a thread to find it plastered with Political opinions.
..so let's try to keep on track..OK man.
Thanks so much..it's looking good.

Thanks for the feedback Mr. Styx, but you deleted the best part. The part about the Sphincter.
Besides, do you really think it's a good idea to let a couple Trumpinista Haters dictate Free Speech on a public forum?

ray, first off I never filed a complaint. I’ll say it to your face but I won’t go around your back. I love your build and hearing your knowledge of rx7 lore.. beyond that politics and religion do not belong at the dinner table(ogta). Having said that I’m offering an olive branch.. let’s keep it 7’s and be friends.

Speaking of SAs, my '79 is BONE stock. If I move to a RB full exhaust system (header, PP muffler and cat back), would my Nikki need rejetting or adjusting for the new less restrictive flow? What's been most people's experience. The car currently runs great, so I'm a little hesitant to mess with things. Is it true that stock motors pick up 20% power with just this upgrade? 20 ponies would definitely register on the butt dyno!
Lots of rotors

"Nikkis are the $%^! for sure!"
Somebody needs to report SC Tim to the Mods for the foul language. This is a family thread after all.
AZ Tim, I don't think you'll have to do anything at all to the Nikki after installing an RB header.
I routinely install RB systems on my 12A powered FBs and never even think about adjusting the Nikki, much less rejetting or anything radical.
Just swap out the stock stuff for the RB stuff, off you go, smoother, faster and sounding pretty.
In my opinion the RB presilencer is required equipment with the RB header, a sweeter sound you will never hear.
If your stock muffler is in good shape you could go with that, but going all out for a complete system is best, save the stock equipment to return to all stock if and when it's necessary.
And yes the upgrade will definitely register on the ole buttometer.
Brett good luck with the wife and the FC RB system. If it doesn't work you should start a "Go Fund Me" account, register it here on the OGTA thread.

Just nock the primary venturies out and give them a little widening. Nothing major just bring them up from the pitiful 20mm to a good healthy 22mm. You will probably need smaller air bleeds (if you have 70s you might be fine) to compensate for this change. FYI the stock blue air box lid is perfectly capable of moving this air there is NO need to modify it.
Yep, it's up for sale. I've had it with Wankels.
They're nothing but under powered Money Pits that are destroying the environment.
Felix was a **** you know, Trump is his third cousin by marriage.
And that 1st gen looks like a cross between a ***** and a Volkswagen.
No Sireee, no more Wankels for me!
