Yeah, Paul I'm sorry about that. I remember Cindy's note that it's the beginning of your Akron trip - I didn't cut you guys out on purpose. We've missed two over the years, so maybe this is the first year we double-up with a late summer get together. Gotta catch up, you know.

One day I'm gonna hand you the keys to my S3 and you're gonna eat those words.

Paul,

It's not the right color, but the price is right (for now).

thank you Tommy!! Unfortunately a TII is not in my immediate future. Until Cindy finishes school and gets back to work the cash flow just isn't there for "another" rx7. Besides now that I'm working on mine I'm finding a lot of reasons to spend cash on it. Mike GSLSEforme has been filling my head with tasteful mods and I'm liking all of them. He and I think alike on what I want to accomplish short and long term. I'm thinking in about a year I'll be up to around 175 hp on mine and that'll keep me happy short term. When or if I get a TII it'll have to be black to match mine. I know, sounds picky but black is it for me.

A Tribute to the Rotary Gods

SE's are nice, LE's are better, Felix says SA's are best.

FC's and turbos, overweight bimbos.

FD’s you say? Not so much.

FE's have 4 doors, backseats and eyesores.

A sport car you say? I think they suck.

Give me a 12A, a simple epitrochoid.

Put on a Nikki, a Wankel is born.

Felix is 115 this August. A god you say?

Maybe.

Truly a revolutionary. Ultimately unable to keep up w tree hugging cafe standards. The wankel is only for the few of us that buck the norm and insist on being different. A dirty and inefficient design the wankel is.. there's no arguing that. But for those of us that don't care about gas mileage or putting pollutants in the air... triangles trump cylinders.!! No political meaning intended.

Minor details. Lol

Installed my cruise servo today only to find out that I appear to be out of cruise switches. Not sure if I sold my spares or what.. so no cruise for me yet.
I also disassembled my spare sunroof assembly because the one in my car now has seen better days and I don't think any amount of shimming will see the sunroof sliding properly ever again.. but then I ran out of steam and will be waiting till next weekend to drop my headliner etc to actually remove mine, take it apart, and swap the good tracks over.
Oh yeah, and I buffed my door and quarter of the paint and rubber transfer from some clueless old bosnian lady side swiping me a few weeks ago.

I’m with you on this one Paul.

Those Dudes need a whole lot of Credit.

Especially Crit, who hung his *** out during Irac I.

And my dad, who flew B-58’s (so did John Denver’s dad).

The B-58 was totally cool, you 13B kids should check it out, here’s a MITO:

I witnessed a few of these MITO takeoffs myself as a sleepy pre-dawn kid in Bunker Hill Indiana.

My dad was totally cool, I miss him.

Man Ray that is one cool dad you got there! B58 Same jet depicted in the movie "Failsafe" I think. IMHO our parents were the "high water mark" of our civilization. Miss my dad too!! he couldn't serve in WWII because of a hernia. Your dad served in three campaigns. Thank you is not enough but all I got!! Crit? Thank you to you as well!! Whether "in country" or stateside serving is a total giving up of ones personal freedoms to save the freedoms of others.

Ray, yeah, I do still have it. It needs a lot of work. It's not road worthy.

So is this Lake Meet happening?

I totally agree Paul and Tim, that Dude needs to be impeached As Soon As Possible.

He's already destroyed our democracy.

Now he's got his sights set on the entire planet.

We may be moving down much much sooner than we planned for. Still not entirely sure on the date.. not soon enough to make the lake meet, unfortunately.

I'll be sending my fuel injectors out to be cleaned and flowed f riday. Once they're back, the engine is coming out and a bunch of gaskets are getting replaced. Hybrid goes in.

Racecar.

:-P
