Nothing but good things to say about Jose at Fuego racing. Tore the car down and had it ready in a little over a week. Gabby did a fantastic job pulling 352rwhp out of a street ported stock turbo'd FD at 14psi.

Mazsport on the other hand... Car was there for almost 3 months before i bothered them enough to get a compression test done. They do good work if you can go without your car forever. Dont listen to dates they give you because they are grossly inaccurate. I missed last years deals gap run because of it.

RussTII 01-01-06 01:04 AM

im pretty sure Ruff Racing is still around and Osbourne Racing did not honor their warranty when my newly rebuilt engine cracked an apex seal. i was driving down the highway and i dropped a rotor. said it was my fault........BULLSHIT!!!

I just spoke with someone on the phone who said his name is Carlos Lopez and here is the location and information he gave me:I need to know if this is the same person as above. Anyone have any info?

Carlos Lopez
Fast Tech Racing...I think I have that correct, or maybe Fastech?
Kissimmee Florida

Phone is 321-229-6140

He is courteous to talk with and seems extremely knowledgable, but I don't know if this is the same person or not.

His business name and location is different than what is listed above. Did he move and start a new business or something? I am a bit confused....OR maybe he just has the same name?

IS THIS THE SAME PERSON OR NOT?

Can't believe no one on the forum has come out with, and posted this information. Specially with the 20+ years I've been around the area, and helping everyone out.
Due to commitments and time restraints, I no longer get as many opportunities to come on the forum as I used to. So for everyone's information, here it is.
The "New" and correct address is:

CLR Motorsports Inc.
14057 SW. 140 Str.
Miami Fl. 33186
(305) 235 3696

The phone # has been the same since 1982
And Yes, I have been known to go away racing, & not pay my phone bill. ..... So if you call, and the phone is "temporarily disconected", chances are: I will be back is one or two weeks.

We are located just south of the Tamiami Airport, in Kendal.
When not out racing, normal bus. hours are 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Please call before you visit.

Why would somebody in Puerto Rico (the land of Rotaries, Rotary Mechanics, and Tuners) need to send an engine in to somebody in Miami?

ErixHvn 04-09-06 07:09 PM

which one would be recommended for fabricating a supercharger bracket

Which of these shops would you recomend to fabricate a supercharger bracket? I'm currently trying to find the right shop for that kind of work. Might not even have to be an RX7 specialist. Any club members w/ a machine shop? Anyone w/ previous experience in supercharging an RX

Need good prices for the fab. on really tight budget. Any shops in North FL, Tally area would even be better.

Here is pretty much the the whole story.

I can also be reached directly at Erixhvn@aol.com

thanks

We can build/fabricate/repair anything you need relating to rotaries or V8 conversions. We can also dyno and tune any of the aftermarket EFI systems available. We own 2 FDs, and know these cars down to the last nut and bolt.

The Isaac you refer to is Isaac Grijota, a good friend of mine. He does some work in my shop on occasion. I built a bunch of parts for his FD, and installed and tuned the AEM ECU that runs it. Isaac is a great guy, and a damn good engine builder with a lot of rotary knowledge.

loren 06-04-06 10:05 PM

does anyone know of any place that can tune the apexi pfc for an fd in the tampa bay area?
i just installed my ecu and i need it tuned. i would rather have it tuned by someone who knows rotary engines and doesnt life 5 hours away. thanks

The original reason i wanted to post in this thread before these assholes started jodiendo was to bump for TURBO CLINIC. Charlie Maldonado is a good man and does excellent work. He knows his shit and is more reasonably priced than most shops.

I'm going to work with Carlos Gonzales.... talked with him on the phone tonight and he seems quite knowledgable.

SuriCurumeR 08-03-06 08:21 PM

Anywho, I need a rotary mechanic in the Tampa area. The closer to Odessa the better. I'm not looking for a speed shop, just someone who can do some basic "what did I fuck up?" work.

Thanks ahead of time.
