For engine rebuild Kilo or Petit racing. Got drag racing Kilo hands down. For auto cross and road course Pettit racing. For street car I use both. I like Kilos motors and running but I also like Pettit for heat management and suspension. I trust both.

Any good body shops in South Florida?
|
I'm on the hunt for an FD so I've been inquiring for some time on this subject. In the South Florida area, those that currently own or have owned recommend Carlos Lopez and Pettit Racing.

My experience
I owned my fd since 98 in Orlando and have been taking for a ride more than once by shading Fl rotary shops. My recommendations are as follows. Pettit racing for over all care, suspension, brakes and twin turbo setup. Cam is a road race guy and is very good. Now with that said Kilo is the man when it comes to engine build, tunning and single turbo setups. Kilo is a drag race guy. I alternate from Cam at Petit and Jesus from Kilo. I trust no one else with my car period. Both these guys arent cheap but with some cheap mechanics you will spend more in the long run. Trust me i have been down that road. Feel free to contact me. I hate when rptary guys get taken by shady mechanics

Classic Mazda
1983 N Semoran Blvd, Orlando, FL 32807 I know, most of us are against going to dealer service centers, I am typically among that group. But these guys go against every dealer service center stereotype that I know of. Not to mention a bunch of them are huge rotary guys and will go out of their way to take care of us enthusiasts. They even host meets on occasion. |
Jeff, the owner of Maztech, has retired. He was one of the good one's.
