Great meet. Definitely need to do this more often. St Augustine next time then!

I officially feel like crap... I completely forgot about this. Very sorry guys.
Neil, I am with you and would really like to get the car on a road track in the near future. Though I am having trouble finding road tracks close to Orlando. If you know of any please pm me. |
I got there 2.5 hours late, but I thought the meet was great. Happy to see familiar faces and make new friends as well. Not to mention I got to take home a large stash of leftovers again! :naughty:
Thanks for all the event posts M104-AMG! I was suppose to go autocrossing at Whitehouse in my buddy's miata today, but he ended up having to go to work. My slowass black P5 isn't worth tracking and I'm selling my 7 to that same friend. However I should be able to make the Classic Motorsports Mitty Event that you mentioned if I get the day off. |

No car is too slow for autocross.
Amen. "slow" cars routinely beat out high performance cars at autocross. Its the driver..good driver can make a slow car fast in autocross. |
For the record, I timed our return trip to Gainesville. Girvin Park to city limits Gainesville in 1 hour 18 min..:) Mark you have convinced me to get a big arse wing and a brake upgrade. Both road tested on our trip felt solid.

don' forget that we stopped at that pilot and I dropped a deuce drank a yohoo and hobos hit you up for change.
|
Yes...forgot to mention the hobos and the deuce was info not needed...pretty sure you picked up an STD at that truck stop
|
No no its completely normal to throw up the next morning after driving a rotary.

I put in an e-fan and the aftermarket thermostat failed... i went through 4 of them before i got one that didnt catch on fire - good thing Mazdas weren't made in CHINA! This one is activating the fan at 185... i'm not exactly comfortable with that. I need to get an adjustable one that actually works. |

Neil, the Mitty Event is the same weekend as Deals Gap Rotary Rally (dealsgaprotaryrally.com). DGRR is fantastic and by far the best rotary event on the East Coast. I am going and you should too :)
