need help- clearwater FL

ok, its a long story but. back in october we have an rx7 transported from washington to texas. in transport, the rx7 was damaged. there was alot of problems getting the trasporter to actualy finaly drop off the vehicle. it was in transit for over 21 days. it had damage to the hood and roof. the driver signed a form stating that it did infact have damage and that the company would be responcible for the damages. we then started after the company. Afordable auto, located in clearwater. they actualy hired a sub-contracter to transport the rx7, shortly after the rx7 was dropped off , MAIN line auto transport, the ones who shipped our rx7, went out of business and all phone lines were cut off and there is no way to contact that company any more. so we have been dealing with afordable auto this whole time trying to get them to pay, but they keep re-directing us trying to find the insurence information for mainline (which we found was non existant)

in short.
afordable auto transport is who we hired to move an rx7
they hired mainline automotive
mainline took 3 weeks to drop the vehicle off, and damaged the vehicle in the prossess.
they have signed a paper statign the damage of the vehicle
mainline is no longer in business and did not have "load insurence"
afordable auto states that all drivers they hire have insurence on their website
aforable auto is located in clearwater FL

soooooooooo, i already talked to the police department in clear water and they say file a civil claim.
