I agree with the idea of getting all Mazdas as a group.. Miata's alone will surely account @ 1/3 of the Mazdas....

I should have all the details finalized soon, there may also be a Tuner Car Show to enter during the event, with a bikini contest to boot...

...as far as getting a lap around, I think I may (no promisses) be able to pull some strings

...oh, and the original intention was for an all Mazda gathering. I don't really care which way it turns up. I'm going regardless

All of us today at the Watson Island SO FLA RX CLUB Meet will be attending... so if everyone goes you can count on at least there being 50+ cars from our club.

So I got off the phone with HMS earlier... There will be two packages available for us. The first package is $25 per person. This is the basic package which includes a General Admission Ticket, Paddock Pass, and Corral Parking.

The second package is $40 per person and is called the "Hospitality Package". This includes everything in the Basic Package plus a Hospitality suite in the "Chalet Village", food and drinks (non alchie... )

The passes will be pre-sold, probably with a call in. The "club code" is SE Rotary Club... and it's not really Rotary only, but it is Mazda only. Since it is sold as an individual basis, it's up to you to decide what package you want.

I am supposed to be getting an "order form" with a specific "club number". As soon as I get it, I'll post it here. I spoke to HMS again today, they have a small window (like 3 days) after setting up the due date to be able to guarantee the parade lap. I think they might be letting us do the entire inside track plus Nascar turns 3 and 4 (what GrandAM runs). Otherwise it would be the oval (more likely). Keep in mind it's a parade lap and not a speed lap

Ok, so here is the flyer. You can either print it and send it in with payment, or you can call the number on the bottom and pay with credit card. Keep in mind, that if you bring someone, they also need to get a ticket. General admission is $20, but I don't think you get the paddock pass.

So how this this going to work? Are we all going to get all of our tickets together as a club or just get them individually?

you get them individually through the phone number. When you get the tickets, you give them the "club name" and "club number". Both of these are on the image I posted. You will then receive your credentials along with a schedule of events and some other goodies in the mail. Keep in mind, if you are bringing someone... They need to buy the $25 package or the $40 package. If you get the $40 package for yourself and the $25 package for your guest, your guest will not be allowed in the Chalet Village suite or have access to the food. If you buy the $25 (or $40) and your guest buys a general admission ($20 ticket), your guest will not have access to the paddock or cold track (they will not be able to ride along on the parade lap).

Lastly, the parade lap is only for people 18 AND OVER You can get the corral parking and paddock pass (or chalet suite if you take that package) if you are under 18, but you will not be able to go on the track, period.
