I think the FB ignitors fail sooner because they're on the dizzy and theres more heat over there. On the other hand the SA gets cross talk on the ignitor signals because the sit over on the wheel well.
Eventually I may. For now though I just need to replace it so I can drive to work

Already have the 2 gen coil installed. Honestly I don't or didn't notice any difference. The car has been a bitch to start as it continually overflows copious amounts of raw fuel into the engine. The fact that the igniter may have been getting weak may have something to do with the starting issues, but it is like Niagra falls when you stop the engine for more than 5 minutes...

Thanks for everyone's help, and sorry for blowing up everyone's phone. Here's a picture of the carnage.

My tire blew out on the parkway... and my spare didn't fit because my lug bolts were too short... and no store seems to carry a long enough lug bolt without special ordering, or at least any store that's open at 8pm on a Friday

Thanks. To make things more humorous, I had a full set of (like) new tires in the car that I was coming back from picking up.

Not trying to start anything, but the floats may need to be readjusted on the Nikki Dave. I have yet to get one to set exactly to "factory" specs. Just may be getting a little trash through them also. Just somethong to check. If you need any of the J109 ignitors, I have some as well. As a temp fix, you could swap the leading and trailing ignitors. Just won't have a tach.

I never shift til it spins around twice.

Also, The new acura TL's are slow... Jumped him off the line and pretty much burned through 2nd. 3rd gear was good... for about 2 seconds, then I got walked.

Yep, I plan on adjusting them today. If i remember correctly you said one of the floats was damaged a bit from previous techs. That may be the main issue.

I got the igniter working again by cleaning all the connections for it. I know have spark on all plugs, but it still won't start as it is drowning in fuel I think.

Also found out that the last person to change plugs in it crossthreaded EVERY plug!! That made for a looong night of removal and thread repair....idiots

I can check my stuff and see if I have some good floats left. The Nikki I rebuilt for Rick's LE gave a little bit of hassle, but it was getting trash in it. His car handn't been on the road in almost 6 years. After a couple hundred miles (and readjusting the floats) he is happy with it now. He told me that he couldn't remember the last time the car ran that well

Where at in the window should the level be? even with the little dash mark in the casting? Front and rear are level with eachother, maybe just a tad higher than that mark I refer to.

Either way the car is running again. I finally got the crossthreaded plugs out and replaced. The spark had to jump the frigging grand canyon Car fired up straight away with alot of excess fuel smoke from days of being flooded. Now my issue is this... Can you adjust the dizzy with the 2 gen coil on ? What i mean is I get lit up like rockafeller center when I touch it..Now when I walk into the room lights come on without the switch Is this because the trailing holes are not being used and it is jumping out too me when i touch it,..or is this a bad cap/rotor/and or wires?

Car runs alot better with the new plugs, and I am guessing once I am not loosing spark thru a arc It will get even better.

You need fresh cap, rotor and wires I bet. I don't light up when I touch mine

Yeah adjusting that freeplay out makes a lot of difference, right Stu? Stu got to check out my steering one time when I gave him a ride.
