Again, sorry but I think my 91TII is too nice off a body to do that to it. A mistake would be easy to make. Thanks for the help but I would rather use a TRUE fender roller unless one of you want to pay me for a paint job if I make a mistake. Thanks but no thanks. |
dont be scared u pussy, just use the bat..
|
I used a hammer handle on my 94 silver .It may not be as nice as your 91 but it did not mess the paint . How does a roller work if the fender is not perfectly round and the wheel is not centered in the opening ?

hey gar, thanks for the insite there. I don't think there are to many 7's that are as nice as yours. You have seen the 91 I have. I just don't want to make one false move and crack the paint. |
"How does a roller work if the fender is not perfectly round and the wheel is not centered in the opening ?"
That is why you use a baseball bat. In places where the fender/tire clearance is a lot, then you work with the fat end of the bat. In places where the fender/tire clearance is tight, then you work the skinny part of the bat. Be patient, and work it just a little at a time. You need at least 2 people; one to work the bat and one to push the car back and forth. |

Here check it out http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/p...=fender+roller Still again, if anyone has an actual roller I would be interested in renting it. |

Okay, back to the topic. |
