nah, my 7 had a hollw edelbrock cat., a greddy racegate that was vented to the atmosphere, and a pettit race only 3 inch exhaust.....and trust me, it was LOUD and i used to take that car and compete with no issues. my miata at full throtle now isnt that quiet either
