lol yes it is Jimi, purple pimp sauce with a hint of creamy white on the hood >.>

Though with luck and time i hope to be all primered up in black, or matte black before the final minor gloss is added.

You're gonna paint the TII black?? You know what they say Derrick... once you go black...

Oh, on a sidenote... I saw a charcoal FC at Ballcamp and Middlebrook Saturday. It looked nice, I think it was a S4 N/A with wheels but I didn't get a good look.

Yeah, matte/satin black with some deep cherry metallic flame licks along the hood and sides, nothing big.

Lookin' good! Derrick, I'll donate a quarter. I know it's not much but hey, it's a substantial amount of my estate.

To explain things
I had planed to sand with 400grit to start
me and kris got out there and started to sand the ammount of orange peel in the paint and how bad it was in there was sandinstandly we changed our minds
and fell back on plan b
Switched over to 220 grit did a sanding and removed a lot of the orange peel
did really rough spray with paint (it has one coat of paint)

Most of this is Becuse half way tho things i suddenly was told hey you can use the shop when you want to.
so now i have to clean out the shop, and after that i can work/ paint my car inside a nice building

I have my SAFC2 installed now. So now I need to borrow a wideband and EGT and whatever else you need to tune it.

No a 89 NA vert.

Edit: I was looking at the knocking numbers and they are 100+. I tried zeroing everything out.. no help. I tried but adding and taking away fuel still no help.

Knock numbers on an NA are negligible, youll never get rid of it since the sensor doesnt exist.

In related new, the T2 is parked yet again...flooded bigtime seems to be my scenario again...oil is swimming in fuel >.< time for injectors i guess.

if the sensor doesn't exsist then why is there a wire on the ecu? But alright.

In related news.. I had to richen the car a bit.. When I started the car tonight (in gear) it had a terrible idle, bouncing from almost dying to about 800 rpms. It started idling good quickly though So maybe it's where I messed with the idle adjust screw afterI had tuned. I'll probably set the safc to 0% adjust then mess with the fuel levels.

There's some base settings around for an N/A somewhere. Basically you leave the bottom pretty much where it's at and take fuel out at the top end. It's pretty hard to blow up an N/A from taking out too much fuel.

^Probably Black Dragon Auto.

Edit: If you are worried about it cracking.. I pretty sure s5 dashes don't. They are more rubbery.. if it's the heat building up in the car get some of those silver window covers... All the cars I've seen with carpet-like dash covers it looks ugly. I'm not sure if it's proven or not but tinting your windows may help?

Eh, I'd worry about cracking in any car. Dash covers are pretty ugly, I'd opt for the window cover as Yeti suggested. You can get those just about anywhere so you wouldn't have to order it. If you really want the cover, I'd say you'd have to order it online. No one around here would carry that. You could always buy some fabric and make your own though.

Tinting won't save your dash... Yeti, you've seen the tint on my TII and my dash has bubbles in it right above the gauge cluster.

I suppose you could...

Most of the super rich conditions occur at higher rpm's.

hm.. well I do a lot(!) of city driving.. most of which is before the engine is fully warm.. I keep the rpms down and drive gently until it's warm. I don't get on the engine until it where it's supposed to be. But yeah.. If you know how to tune and have the equipment and would like to help me with it.. Then when can I come down? I was going to have Derrick tune it just havn't got over there yet. I don't know anything about tuning so I'm trusting you guys (whenever I get around to get to one of you guys' houses.)

Edit: I need to start proofreading.

Another knoxville FD sighting this morning. A white one at the weigels on the corner of Kingston Pike and Hayfield Rd. Very nice car. I would love to have a white or silver one!
