I spotted a red FC tonight, and I'm pretty sure it's the red GXL that lives near me. I talked to the owner a couple years ago but I don't think he gets online. Really clean car though, I see it around occasionally.
You know.. if everyone that posted on this thread actually came to the meets we'd have an awesome turnout and could become a club and get discounts maybe or something.. Atleast we'd be cool with about 10+ 7s in a line going down the road.

I don't have a 7 yet....still trying to find one.
I saw 3 7's yesterday (good day).
1. Chapman Highway Wal-Mart around 11 p.m.: Red S4 vert, very clean. It had red trim on the seats and aftermarket mufflers (Racing Beat?).
2. 1st Gen: Some random road in Maryville. I'm not quite sure the road, but it was a silver one sitting in someone's driveway. Didn't look to be in great condition.
3. Dark grey 2nd gen with a rust colored hood. It had Mazda pasted across the top of the windshield. Freddie, if you're going towards your house from town, right after you pass Maryville college, where the road splits into Wilkinson and Duncan(?). It's down Duncan on the right sitting under a carport.
I passed by your 7 yesterday and got sad. I told my girlfriend it was sick and that I would fix the problem by buying it from you.

Did it have a black bra on the front end?
Well the spark plugs didn't do the trick (although they were shot). Anybody got any suggestions? I think it is just flooded, but who knows. It gets so close to turning over, but just won't get there.
And mine is toward the Wilkenson Rd part of the split. About a quarter mile down on the right sitting in front of my house. Don't know about the one under the carport???

Well, if it sounds close to turning over check to see if you are getting adequate spark and fuel, do a proper unflooding procedure, check to see if pumps running ok, check compression (you do have a FD afterall so it should be second nature) and lastly...well check to see if you have vac leaks and getting enough air.
I didn't mean my comment to be assholey. Anyway after Derrick gave me my shirt today some guy that was apparently in a bus came back by and told me he used to own my car and so own. He said he has a vert but the engine is blown and was wanting to buy another instead getting it rebuilt. I guess he figured it'd be cheaper.. He also told me he was needing a 1st gen shell.. I told him I just had mine towed off.. I forgot to get his number or tell him about the site or meets.. but he was an older guy so he'd probably never come and so on.. maybe he'll come back by Little Caesars one day and I can talk to him again. It's amazing the ammount of people that come by and ask about my car..
Yeah, that too >.> Jeremey
and ive had a few ppl ask about the t2...though im still shocked and apalled by the mustang boys at the track who asked "Why dont you run your FD?"....

Straight track, all we have here. Man, lot of sightings lately. I guess the good weather brings them out. We need to be like mormons and knock on the door of anyone with a 7 in the driveway. We'll hand out RX7club tracts and tell them about the great spiritual peace they'll attain by coming to our meets.
Jeremy, you ever gonna get these seats?
On a happier note I came out today and found some more BB gun damage on the side of the TII (which hasn't left the culdesac since the meet two weeks ago). So I went over and had a talk with a couple of parents, which in turn had a talk with their kids who probably won't be seeing daylight anytime soon. We're going to work something out financially to compensate for the damage to both cars.
Golferfreddie, I'd check for vacuum leaks. I know that's hard to do if the engine won't start in the first place but any leak big enough to prevent starting is probably an obvious one. If the car is flooding you'll smell the gas, especially on the spark plugs. Check to make sure you're getting a spark on both leading plugs. If you're brave, try a small shot of starter fluid into the UIM. It can't be the safest thing to do but I got my TII started once with it. Perhaps we should have a "get the FD started" meet soon?

The first gen I saw (silver one) was right next to where Montvale and Montvale Station road come together. If you're coming from Court St. it will be on the right.
Well I left the plugs out all night and I am going to do the deflooding procedure when i get home. Amazing that I am on my third 7 and never had flooding issues and therefore never learned how to fix it! I will let you all know how it goes!
Ya I've been seeing more 7's everyday lately...A girl that works at my walmart has a Red 2nd Gen GTU, and one of my friends buddys has a silver 82 seven. trying to get them all on here but they arent cooperating. Aswell as I saw a silver 2nd Gen in a drive way by clinton/merchants not far from my house.
