Apology/thanks to Raleigh, NC area members
 

First I'd like to apologize for not making the meet last night, I didn't realize my return was part of the reason for the BBQ and thanks for that. I got the car running Friday night and had it all cleaned up on Saturday for the meet but we had a BBQ of our own that day, and I didn't know there was going to be a BBQ at the meet or where it was being held so we had our own BBQ and it ended up running too long. I feel really bad for not making it to the BBQ, and I'm very sorry to those that planned it. I'd also like to thank those of you that chipped in for the parts to give me to get my car running. Since I already got it running (it was just bad gas by the way), I will hang onto the parts (fuel filter, oil filter and spark plugs) in the event someone has a similar problem in the future, or if the giver wants them back I will give them back, that's cool too, just let me know. Thanks again for everything guys/gals, I will see you in a couple weeks at the next meet. Eric

Eric, glad you got the parts, sending by way of another FD owner is chancy at best. Never heard of an FD owner that didn't need parts for their car! We missed you and hope you can make another Drive-In real soon. Glad you made it back from Kuwait safely. Just face Mecca, bow down and thank GOD that you made it home from the big sandbox.

Let us know when you're coming to a Drive-In and we'll all bring sand and spread it out in the Char Grill parking lot for, make things seem a little more like your home-away-from-home.

We had a great time yesterday but sorry you missed the cookout. Ours was better, we had a bunch of rotaries at ours! :0)
