This jerk advertised a car minus motor on this club's board. I contacted him and he said he had 2 cars one with a transmission and title and one without. I made him an offer and He sold me the car which was supposed have a transmission and title. I gave him a deposit I told what I was going to use the car for and the parts I needed and to feel free to to take off anything that he may want and I did not need. When I came to pick up the car I (Val has a bad back) removed the parts that he wanted from the car. Then it was time to give him the check for the balance. First he pretended to look for the title. He could not find it! He said that he must have left it at home. Next was the transmission he said that it was in Broward with a friend, but he had a very low mileage on that he would sell me for an additional $175. The flat bed was on the way and he is a preacher. So I said that I would withhold $100 until he gave me the title and trans. The check was for the full amount and I did not bring more checks. The solution Paypal the swindler made me add extra to cover he PayPal fees. That was over 5 months ago. I have a car without a title and no transmission. It has been taking up space in my drive because I can not use a car without a Title. The guy is not a preacher he is a scam artist. He now admits that he never paid the previous owner for the car, so the previous owner is holding the title and transmission until he does. Val does not return my calls. This has been going on for months. I would like to hall his fat ass to court or jail, But I do not have his entire name or address. Would you please help!

Correction, I did advertise a parts car w/ no motor.. a grey GXL. The other car was a convertible with title & no motor. Your interest was solely on the GXL Parts car to build a British based "Locust" Kit Car project with your son as a father and son thing and that is exactly what you got. Nothing else was ever expressed or promised. This was a personal matter that should have only been addressed to the parties concerned.... End of discussion.

Tommy from RX7Mall.com will be on hand as he expressed desire to be a part of the meet.

A couple of race cars will also be present from guys like Andy Osborne "Osborne Racing", Steve Senay "STS Racing", Luis "DMS Racing" and there is one more that I cannot remember his name.

I spoke to Simon today and he is preparing to be there early so we can have a great spot as he said that once we come in the park and make our first right that it will be about 2 or 3 little bridges.. in fact it is the place where the RX-8's had a meet some months ago if anyone was present at that meet.

Bill from Powertech and DAD will be there to provide some really great prizes for the various raffles that we will be having that day so make sure you bring plenty of money to buy some raffle tickets..... all in all there are a total of 18 prizes to be awarded.

I hope to see you all there and to make this meet the best one that we have had up to now...

Val, this is Tom's wife, Luisa we have both tried for months to resolve this issue nicely. We spoke to the guy that actualy owns the car, Shawn who told us you sold it without authority and had not paid him, therefore he would not release the title,he too was stiffed. You promised to credit our pay pal account and return the rest of the deposit. We are out several hundreds of dollars. First you told us that you had financial hardships to give you a while, then you were looking to borrow the money to pay us back. Then it was the hurricanes and now we have tried to contact you every day for a month and you have not bothered to return either my calls or my husbands. This happened in July, I think this is enough time and patience to try to resolve this matter from our part.
As I have stated before, a real man of the cloth does not steal from others, does not deceive others and is honest. We are honest family people that have been robbed of money that we could have used for our children. We do not hide under the premises of religion like you have, to make people beleive that you are an honest individual.
If you really want to resolve this, you must have over 50 voice mails from me that you can answer, it only takes one and the money you owe us. That is all we want.

You should have kept it out of the forum.... this is a personal matter that needed not to be discussed here.I am not catholic so I cannot be a man of the cloth or a catholic priest. no one has been stiffed like you say either. this will be the last post on this subject. keep the personal stuff personal aight ?

boy oh boy i hope sunday is totally peaceful and fun for ALL of us. im sorry but i would laugh my ass off if the sun sentinal came out there and recorded a fight with the south florida rx7 club lol.......anyway im sure this meet will be great in all seriousness. i cant wait!
