Random Rotaries in Cinema?

I always get a little thrill when I see a random RX7 in a movie or on television. These usually occur in establishing shots, and a cool Mazda can be seen somewhere on the screen.

I've done a few careful searches but haven't found anything specific to screenshots/mentions of these sightings. Are there any threads I'm missing? I feel like there has to be one somewhere. If there isn't, I'll probably start a dedicated thread, but I thought I'd ask before going nuts and posting everything I can find. An example "post" of what kind of stuff I'd like to see, and what I would post today if I found such a thread:

Spotted a 3d FB model in The Dark Knight Returns "Batman" themed animation:

The model has a couple of color inaccuracies, but it's always interesting to think about how 3D models like this one require someone to put in a decent amount of time to build them, so the reason behind their inclusion is often much more deliberate than in live action, non-CG TV shows and movies. Think of the animated TV show Archer where every car in the entire series is hand-picked, even on random shots of a highway.

In this case, the entire film is referenced from an '80s graphic novel and probably made to match 80's pop stuff, like cars, that were actually drawn 30 years ago.

No thoughts?

Here's an RX-2 from the 1976 hot rod flick Eat My Dust

The movie focuses mostly on a Camaro race car, but this RX-2 makes an appearance in the first few minutes of the film. Sadly Ron Howard leans on it, but doesn't drive it.

Also spotted this S1 RX-7 a few days ago in the much-less-stupid-than-expected Adventures in Babysitting (1987). It scoots by in a few frames and that's it.

A lot of times location sets like this are blocked off to control the shot, so it's possible that the car is owned by a member of the crew, or the director just thought it was a cool vehicle and specified it for the scene. Could just be random!
