Painted rotor housings?

Well i've seen a few pics floating around of some painted rotor housings but now that i'm actually objectively looking for them, i cant find em anymore lols go figure.

So anyway if anyone has pics of painted rotor housings i would like to see them. Also i wanna know what kind of paint is used and if it makes a difference in heat reduction/absorbtion/whatever. thanks guys

Honestly, you won't really see the paint once the engine is installed:

yea but what about the heat factor, very nice looking engine btw. Anyway if it will keep heat off ur engine or confined somehow then there would be a purpose to paint them.

That little bit of paint ain't going to make a difference in that respect. Besides, you have a lot more heat going internally from the combustion and that's what your oil and cooling system is there for...

if you hear about that. its probly powder coat or something else.
high temp engine enamel wont restrict anything, if it does. its very insignificant.

New motor: 900 degree Chevy Engine Orange

Generic Silver...

I kinda liked the flat finish of1500 degree at first, but it soaked up oil like you wouldn't believe. I've seen the 900 degree on another motor that looked great even after a couple years. Decided to give it a try this time.
